  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

G70 US Availability?

In case any PNW'ers are wondering, Genesis of Bend still doesn't have inventory. Just double checked with them today, they told me they were expecting them last week.

:/

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
LA resident here, very curious to see the G70 when it's available... happy to see California plates on this one. :)

It’s more than annoying that a few folks who work for the company have manufacturer cars to drive and the rest of us in the headquarters state are waiting...waiting...waiting...

The Siberian Ice is an amazing, mysterious color. The photos I’ve snapped of either G80 Sport or G70 in Siberian Ice show that the “color” changes a bit depending on the light...sometimes more white, sometimes more gray, sometimes a bit of blue tint. I’ll defer to Beefer or another SI owner, but it does not seem to look as blue-ish as in the Genesis configerator.

I called Palm Springs Genesis yesterday and the guy told me that they are allowed to sell this car and that they had bought it from the AZ dealership

I also called a few other dealerships around socal and they all say end of January, but more likely February for official deliveries, one even said March...same old story since September though, it seems like we're perpetually 6 weeks out...

Me waiting for 2019 Genesis to arrive in California:

Yeah it has been just over 3 months for me. Sirrus 3-month freebie just finished. Crazy.
Your math is fuzzy...over 2 months. I got mine on November 2nd and you got yours within a week!

Haven't you heard the saying "Time flies when you are having fun"? @Beefer is having so much fun time is flying faster than reality. :roflmao:

This was something I was wondering as well. The closest dealer to me is Tustin Hyundai in California. I wasn't sure about being able to get service nor how bringing a car from out of state to CA was going to work in terms of registration. I'd have to go to Henderson or Scottsdale depending on who had the car.

Hello again rapidus!

I’ve been servicing all my Hyundais at Tustin for the past 7 years. I see plenty of Genesis there for servicing. They had been selling G80s and G90s until the “embargo.”

Thinking about an Arizona or Nevada trip if California drags on too much longer.

I tried to deal on a low mileage Audi S5 Sportback. The price isn't too bad, but could be better. The dealer wouldn't play ball so now I'm seriously considering the Henderson or Scottsdale trip. So tired of waiting!

Thinking again I agree with you. Havana Red, Siberian Ice, Mayorca Blue and Santiago Silver are the best colors IMHO.

I’m partial to the green but I just love everything from BRG to dark forest green.

Mallorca is a great color but I prefer the Ibiza blue from the 2015 Hyundai Genesis sedan. Man I wanted that car badly in the 5.0 V8 + RWD but it was just such a porker. Imagine a G70 in Ibiza Blue, RWD, and a N/A 5.0 V8; now that would be sexy.

The NG is a nice color but at least here in USA it comes only with the Design Edition with the cream interior that looks very good but is not practical for a daily driver. That thing will get dirty in just minutes starting with the steering wheel.
