G70 US Availability?

In my Hyundai for about 3 years I did the 5 months for $25 each time and threatened to cancel and they always gave it to me. I’ll do the same when mine expires next month I think. I use Apple car play but really only for longer drives. It would be really cool if you could access car play wirelessly while it’s in your wireless charger.

Yeah...I already have it...for years now. And I do the same trick. They put my account on hold as the trial ran through...and it then kicked back in. I get a year for ~$100

See though, the way I do it is cheaper than $100 for the year if you think about it. It’s 10 months for $50. So, you have 2 other months that would cover the year and then 3 additional months of a new term, but still comes out to less than $100....I mean it’s still a great deal for sure and it’s way more work on my side to remember to keep calling them back.

Mine includes the Web access...so I can listen on any device.
And...2nd...I cannot handle dealing with them to try and score a deal more than once a year. They drive me bonkers.

Thanks for offering to help. Herb Connolly Genesis in Framingham, MA has the exact config g70 I am planning to buy. AWD, 3.3T, red with gray leather, and Prestige package. However, my goal was to wait until this time next year, so I am seriously fighting the urge to pull the trigger!

I have been lurking here for months (have posted a handful of times) which is not helping! Of course, the hassle of buying from so far away is helping me be patient.

I think it's just pent up demand from the excessive delay and lack of dealer competition. For now.

Sure, but to my mind these are key factors in the current market price, which you can test by actually negotiating with a dealer and seeing how low they will go.

Replying to the mention of a dealer wanting MSRP plus $1000... that’s such a high price, in comparison to what I see people talking about over in the pricing thread, that I would consider taking a weekend vacation and flying to a cheaper dealer, then driving the car home (assuming that’s possible). Might as well spend the money on yourself rather than the dealer.

Ah yeah, I was basically working between them, Arlington, and Nashua NH on who could give me the most off msrp and my trade to get to what I wanted to pay monthly on a lease. Arlington won by a landslide mostly probably due to the business I've done there before. It's an amazing ride!

Their best deal is $60 per year. Been offered that a few times on my Sonata.

After posting the above I sent them an information request on their contact page. I said that I noticed they had a G70 in stock and was wondering if they were taking orders for it through another dealer since they aren't licensed to sell 2019s yet. (I really should have been more accurate and said franchised since they may have a license, haven't checked) I got a response from them within 10 minutes or so:

"I have received your email inquiry on the 2019 G70 that we have on the lot. That is something we are licensed to sell, and it is in fact still available.

The 2019 Genesis models are not quite in full swing, but are expected to be soon.

Did you have any other questions in regards to the G70?"

I responded by thanking him for the info and saying that it was interesting because according to Genesis USA, no California franchises are allowed to sell the 2019s yet. I said I will check with them and see what they have to say. I also then asked why that car was allocated to a dealer in Arizona rather than them.

My response was sent about 1.5 hours ago with no answer, have a feeling I won't be getting one.

Believe it or not, I just received an email from the salesman at Palm Springs. It turns out it is just a marketing ploy. Here is the email:

"I did double check and it does sound like we are unable to sell those 2019 Genesis' until hopefully March.

I am unsure as to why that vehicle was originally sent to Arizona, but we did purchase it from them to display until we are able to sell them here. "

Earlier today someone posted that they received a letter from their dealer saying it would be at least April until they get any 2019s. CA folks will be making a lot of road trips over the border to buy I guess.
