If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. G70 Lease Comparisons and Discussion (USA)

That’s what I would think. I have til November on a lease end on an A4.
Dude just wait for your lease to expire. No reason to take an unnecessary bath on a car maturing soon.

On edit. If you want to get rid of it that bad make your last seven payments today and drive it down to your Audi dealer and say good luck.

The problem is I’m over miles.... by a lot so I owe 4K just in miles. I know stupid but my situation has changed so I won’t put that many miles on it anymore

You are over the total lease by 4K right this second ? Or projected by end. Big difference. Even if 4K miles right now(assuming 40000 in a 36000 mile lease right now ) take your payments and add $800. 4000x.20 cents per mile. Now let’s say your payment is 500. 500x7=3500 +800 miles overage =4300. Go cut them a check for this and walk away. Better than 7000

As of now he owes over $4,000 due to being over miles. I think he said close to 20k miles over.

How many miles a month do you think you will be using it now? Rather than paying the $3,500 to get out of the lease and into a new one it may be better to get value for that 3.5k and just pay the mileage overage for the next 5 months. Since that 3.5k is sunk no matter what you are really deciding between paying whatever is costs for the mileage the next 5 months or the lease amount on the G70. It will probably be cheaper for you to just pay the mileage.

Over 20k miles damn. Bad estimate. lol

Yes, it sure does seem like it. I looked back at his numbers, right now it is a charge of $4,875 for the overage. Rather than rolling that and the 3,500 into the new lease it would be better and cleaner just to ride this one out and pay all overage at the end.

I agree that it’s better for Kwrenaud to just wait until the end given that he’s upside down on his lease from mileage. He could roll it into the G70, but then he’s using any Circle A discounts to pay-off the mileage and remaining payments, and any amount not covered is rolled into a lease.

I also agree that he’s better off waiting until November to lease a G70 and take advantage of end-of-year discounts on 2019s or see what the 2020 model year offers.

So today I have begun looking for a G70 sport and am waiting to hear back from a couple of dealers about applying Circle A pricing along with loyalty, conquest and lease cash. They sounded a little unsure on the phone that al could be used together.?

You have two things in play there. First of all, you can't get a loyalty and conquest in the same deal from what I have been told so you just get one of those.

As far as incentives and Circle A pricing, they definitely can be combined. That said, it appears that whether they are combined is up to the dealer and there is not a rule saying they must. Some people here have reported that their dealer would not accept any Genesis incentives with Circle pricing. What has been more common though is that the dealer will accept Circle pricing, conquest/loyalty and lease cash but will mark up the Money Factor.

It absolutely can. If dealer says no find a new dealer. My first said no. Second said yes.

I’m officially over by 18k miles today and 5 payments of $700 left. I have thought, yes I could wait and those are valid points. Reason I thought to get it now, is the lease and conquest offer along with the circle A pricing is hard to pass up. I don’t know if the $5k will be offered then, and the money factor is great. Plus, if i keep my audi, I will need it get new brakes and have some other maintenance to do. All things I don’t have to worry about with the G70. Here is what I’m being told with rolling about 8500 over. Less payment then now as well. Thoughts?

Looks like they are giving you all of the incentives so given the extra maintenance items on the Audi it may be the best thing to do. Only you can determine that but from a deal point of view, all of the basic items (price, incentives, MF and RV) seem to be correct.

Let us know what you decide to do.

How many miles per yeAr. Must be 15k. Based on your situation I would take deal. Your mileage Problem will compound too

MF rate Could be his credit we may just not know

Ah. What's the base rate for that term? 36 month terms are .00010 or less. Are 48 month terms really 10 times that?

Yes, that is correct. Actually that last 48 month number I have seen was in November and then it was .00118. Since they gave him both the 36 and 48 month MFs and the 36 was at base we were just assuming that the 48 month was also which seems to be a safe assumption given the numbers/history.

So today I did some shopping via the phone with Circle pricing in hand. Check it out MSRP $50575, price $46495, Rebates $3500, Residual 52%, MF 00006, Cap reduction $2032.17 Payment 36 mo. 0 down $574.94 1st payment due at signing.
