  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I should say so. It looks like the tornado is about 10 feet from sucking it up. And I want those wheels. I just don't know how they'd look on a black one.

It started raining ~30 sec. after I took this shot, lol
As for the wheels - the gunmetal color will look good on black as well. Look at this Merc...it has similar looking wheels in gunmetal and imo it looks awesome.

Look...you need to stop. I'm about to leave town for a week and hit the beach with the family. When I have to explain dropping $3k+ on new wheels and tires my blood will be on your hands.

My only defense will be, "He posted a pic of the wheels on a black car! What was I supposed to do....ignore it?!"

Yep.
$3k can go a long way elsewhere other than on 'sexy' wheels. Spend it on the family when you leave town. (y)

They always get my money and will continue to do so whether we're in town or not. Daddy gets to have fun at times too.

Catching that eventing summer breeze, after a nice hot hand wax...

Original tires finally wore out in the rear at 28k+ on my 2015 5.0. So I pulled the trigger on new wheels/tires and followed a recurring theme with TSW Bathurst started by RLoyola and thus began my saga... Started with 255/35R20,20x9 30 offset in the front and 295/30R20,20x10 40 offset in the rear. Had everything confirmed with America's Tire & TSW up front. Loved the look and figured with the slight upsize to 27" diameter tires over the 26.5" originals i might be able to skip lowering springs. Loved the setup and everything was great for a couple days until we went to dinner with another couple. With adults in the back, the rears were rubbing at highway speed over every little dip. Went back and had the rear tires changed to 275/30R20s but the look was definitely off - shorter tires in the rear with much less sidewall. Went back in a third time and they obliged changing the fronts to 245/35R20 to match more closely. Gotta credit Americas Tire for living up to their Satisfaction Guarantee.

No longer rubbing but now wishing I could reduce the gap but worried that lowering springs will bring back the rubbing. Wanted to share my lessons learned to save others the headache.

255 & 295s

245 & 275s - Probably need a better picture without the shadows.

Haha love it!!

Bought my first Genesis about 2 months ago, love the car, dealing with a headlight issue but I'll be searching the forum for that later.

Just picked this up last weekend. I am the Parts Manager at an Acura dealership and this came through via a coworker who traded it in for an Escalade with 92K on it. This is a 2015 with 40K. Got it for $11, 500. I usually mod my cars, but this is perfect the way it sits. I'm opening an account with Wheelpros soon, so maybe some wheels in the future.
$11.5 WOW!!!! Nice!

Just testing out my new lens, lol
