^ thus being locked when the car is locked.

Heck, my 2018 Camaro SS 1LE had that. Many non luxury cars have that.On my old Infiniti, if I pressed and held the unlock button on the keyfob it would drop all the windows so you could let the hot air out. I wish I still had that feature.
I traded up from an Infiniti (G35X) too. Dealer gave me above KBB value and I think they get incentives to poach certain brands, not positive though. Would be interesting to know which brands Genesis is stealing the most drivers from.
Now I'm bracing for the repair since they are removing my driver seat, installing a new motor, and putting it all back together again. I have visions of nicks, scrapes, and scratches in my leather and upholstery. Should be fun.
do you not have tint? I live in Las Vegas and don’t have this issue...This is a major annoyance here in the AZ sun. May have to Black it out. Doesn’t look like much in the photo but when it hits you right square in the eye holycrap that is bright.

Yup, the dealers around me really dont like Genesis. Seems like they view them as a burden or something. They'd much rather just deal with the Hyundais and Hyundai owners. This is why I'm apprehensive about going in to get my headliner looked at
Which is hilarious, they could have easily just not sued the company or just taken the buyout.Yup, the dealers around me really dont like Genesis. Seems like they view them as a burden or something. They'd much rather just deal with the Hyundais and Hyundai owners.
What's wrong with your headliner?

First thing in the morning before you drive, try pushing up on the headliner right around the area where it meets up with the front of the sunroof on the passenger side. Mine makes a little noise like there is some adhesive there that has come loose. There's a whole thread about sunroof/headliner noises. I haven't pinpointed mine just yet, but it's somewhere above and to the right of my head

Well, the ownership probably made the decision based on a business case, but the employees are the ones who dont like it because they have to follow new rules and deal with more demanding customers.Which is hilarious, they could have easily just not sued the company or just taken the buyout.![]()
That sucks. I've actually had more issues and quality problems with this car than I have with my chevys, fords, and Chrysler products. :-/There's a whole thread about sunroof/headliner noises. I haven't pinpointed mine just yet, but it's somewhere above and to the right of my head
The two dealers that I used had the Genesis specialist and they did seem to be a little more sophisticated than some of the others. No problem with the waiting area for service. I don't expect imported water or coffee with hand picked beans by Juan Valdez.Well, the ownership probably made the decision based on a business case, but the employees are the ones who dont like it because they have to follow new rules and deal with more demanding customers.
..... but I would like a Genesis smart watch thrown in with every Gen purchaseThe two dealers that I used had the Genesis specialist and they did seem to be a little more sophisticated than some of the others. I don't consider myself a snob either, But. . . . there are a couple of car dealers that advertise on TV that I find absolutely silly, Silly enough that I'd never go to that dealership if I was looking for that brand. One is making a big fuss that you will get a cruise, big TV and a tablet with every car. No thanks, just give me a good price, but evidently that stuff does attract some customers. Point is, I don't see those dealers easily transitioning to a luxury brand.
I spoke to Genesis USA Consumer Affairs yesterday and the we’re looking into the watch and said that Genesis does not have a Galaxy smart watch. Looks like it was a fake box and a real watch. At least that’s what they determined...... but I would like a Genesis smart watch thrown in with every Gen purchase![]()
We've been through this. You can download the Genesis app onto any Apple/Andriod smartwatch.I spoke to Genesis USA Consumer Affairs yesterday and the we’re looking into the watch and said that Genesis does not have a Galaxy smart watch.
