  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Running the Denso 5346 gapped to .022

Happened again no launch mode just lightly pulling away from a light.

Ran so rough had to coast to a stop and got these codes.

Did you log it this time? Out of curiosity, what does it show for ECU PSI in the graph?

Never made it to boost was just off idle at maybe 25% throttle. I did turn on the log right after but it’s at idle and shows nothing really.

Do you have any supporting mods or just a tune? I’m in Vegas so temps are pretty close what you are getting and I run map2 for a daily on strictly 91 octane and don’t have any issues with it. I also have the bms intake on my car.

No mods at all. Was running map 2 on 91 and now I’ve added Boostane, maybe that’s the issue. I emailed Terry to get his thoughts

Looks like is an issue with the 02 sensor harnesses I used may not not be the best. Going back to the positap and see if that solves the problem.

One of the codes 0050 is 02 sensor heater circuit open or shorted. I’m guessing open due to the China connectors I used to build the harness.

I think I will use the factory looking connectors to attach the fuel wire direct to the 02 sensor wire. Soldiered on and wrapped in the braided sleeving to blend in when disconnected

They're all going to be China connectors regardless who you buy from. Those of use that purchased the extension harness from the guy that specializes in it have not had any issues yet.

Yea I think there may be a bad pin on the ones I built. I’m going to use both wires on the above connectors to make sure there is s positive connection.

I ran just fine before I got my intakes and still ran the tune same map same gas. Just tried to stay off it during the heat of the day. More so play with it at night if the opportunity presents itself. I just plugged in my fuel wires as well. Didn’t really notice any more acceleration but was getting quite a bit more wheel spin than I was previously.

Direct connection to the O2 sensors all the wiring is hidden in sheathing and pretty stealth once the JB4 is disconnected all that’s left is a couple of Factory looking connectors at the O2 sensor area and one under the dash

^ that’s the beauty of it..,right?!?

Brilliant.

One thing...before you remove it...make sure all codes are cleared!!!

Sweet...Bob’s yer Uncle!
The one thing though is if they do a scan they can tell how many engine starts and miles since the DTS codes were cleared.
Although I don’t think they will be checking that for a map update, tint redo and bumper paint repair.

Hey Beefer when using the octane booster and map 3 are you noticing any pulsing under WOT? I ran the recommended e30 mix and was getting a little unusual feeling on map3 and map5. Much worse on map5 to where the car actually cut fuel supply to the engine to cut power completely

When messing around with the fuel... you need to drive around calmly for ~30 minutes. Everything has to mix in your tank...and the ECU needs to go through a learning/adapting process.

No cheating...this is critical.

I had the fuel in my tank for a week driving to and from work all week. Took it out to the speedway for midnight mayhem and was having the issues then. So I had driven the car for a few hours before running it WOT. I was asking if You had any similar issues with the fuel set up you run as to see if it is worth me trying.
