I say try to negotiate an extra grand off the price and that way you're covered if they increase incentives for September. This can be your bargaining chip with the dealer that September incentives will get better. I agree with others that the chance of missing out on the Summer Sales Event discount is very remote! They'll continue to increase incentives until 2019's are gone, so they can make room for 2020.I know this is a crap shoot, but what do you guys think about waiting to pull the trigger on something til September 4th when thnew incentives come out? Obviously could work out really well or really bad. Just hate the thought of leaving money on the table because I can't wait another week.
I'm in the same boat as you and trying to decide what it's worth to me to wait for 2020. I feel that if I can save an extra $3K it's worth getting a 2019 since there are very few changes; especially if you can get a 4-button car (assuming you're going for a 3.3T) that hasn't been sitting in a parking lot for a year!
