Just finished reading through several threads and none of them seemed to give a definitive answer...
I just about purchased an new (09) Titanium/Black V8 with Tech this past monday. I got the dealer down to $1k under invoice, so it was a good deal; however, I had cold feet and backed out so I could decide on paying a few more thousand for a 2010 and try and find one with saddle instead of black.
Anyways, I have spent hours and hours reading through threads and trying to absorb as much good and bad as possible before actually pulling the trigger.
Plus, I've been looking at an 08 Mercedes E350 Sport for around $38k, with low miles...
I'm really thinking going with the Hyundai, since I'll be getting more bang for my buck with the Genesis, it's not a "me too" car, and I will be keeping the Mercedes C230 Kompressor 6spd man, I bought new in 2005.
So, to the point:
I want to go with a slightly staggered set up, like what you would find on a BMW 335i, 535i, MB E-Class sport, etc.., But I do not want a "bling" look. I want a hyper silver finished wheel that looks more like a factory rim, than aftermarket and I want to either stay with the 18" rim or go with a 19" rim with a lower profile tire (40 series).....
One of my favorite OEm wheels right now are some of the audi 7/8 spoke wheels and the concave wheel found on the 4 door BMW 335i.....
I'll see if I can find some pictures.....
If any of you have seen the Genesis Prada, it has a wheel I would love to see on the car I decide to buy.
I'm cool with a non-staggered look as long as the wheel width and tire width is wider than stock...
Would love to see some pictures and wheel specifics to go along with them, from those of you that have purchased an aftermarket rim...
2nd question:
Would the wheel and tire package from a Genesis Coupe Track, bolt up to the 4.6 sedan?
Thanks...Hope to have a Genesis soon!
