  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Post purchase price details here (US $ only)

This is an extensive series of posts on this thread. However the question of leasing and using the large lease cash incentive has moved several members from financing to leasing, including me. Skim this thread to learn the details of lease-purchase comparison. The lease cash and money factor (lease interest calculator) are strongly in the favor of the lessor rather than financing. However each person has his own motivations.

Thanks, i'll give it a look. I'm fine with leasing if that seems to be the way to go to get a better deal. I've never leased before but my understanding is you negotiate the price of the car just like if you were financing it.

Love R_spec, Sent his circle A discount to the dealer and he got me $34 off a month. So i'm walking away with a 3.3L elite siberian ice AWD for $405 a month. Can't beat that for the car you get

Hi there! Newbie here. Been negotiating my G70 for a couple moths now. Got a call today from one of the dealers offering a lease for $475/mo with $1500 down for a 2019 3.3T Elite. Sounds like a good deal to me, thoughts? Read thru a lot of this post and I agree that most of the dealers here in Dallas don’t want to budge on the price. But the one that called me has 16 of these specific models on the lot so they might be finally willing to negotiate. Think it’s worth trying to get a Circle A pin from someone?

I’m coming from a 2017 Infiniti Q60 Red Sport.

It may be good but tough to tell. Using a monthly payment figure as part of negotiations is generally the worst way to conduct them. What you will want to do is get all of the relevant numbers for the deal including MSRP, selling price, MF, RV, incentives, taxes, fees, etc.

Once you have those you can more easily determine whether there is anything in the deal that needs to be worked on.

Makes sense. She is supposed to be emailing me the details. But I’m going to stop by the dealer Thursday. I don’t want to bother @r_spec for a Circle A pin if its not necessary. Plus as a newbie, I can’t message him.

To give you something to gauge her selling price by, the Circle A on that will be around $43k. I would think you should be able to achieve that on a 2019 given it is late in the year.

^ Why are you putting down the $3k for the cap reduction? With the relatively low MF you probably should not put anything down and just pay the fees, if anything, at signing.

I finally joined the club this past weekend!

2019 3.3T Prestige RWD in Siberian Ice with black interior.

Even though I had a Circle A pin (shoutout to rspec) they didn’t ask for it but pricing was similar so no need to apply the pin on their end, I guess. And the 0% for 60 months is just money in the bank.

I can honestly say this car is better than I thought it would be. I drove the 2.0 version and briefly considered a Stinger GT2. The 3.3T is so strong but can be very mild mannered when not in attack mode. Even without the adaptive suspension of the Sport I’ve found the ride to be a nice balance of firm yet compliant. As long as the pavement is fairly smooth the cabin is relatively quiet and it’s very easy to have a normal conversation via hands free calling. Fit and finish is very nice and I just hope it lasts as the miles pile on.

But overall this is an amazing car and I love being on this forum!

Congrats! Is the 0% an ongoing incentive?

It is available currently on the 2019’s as far as I know.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Previously had a Stinger GT1 w/ Tech, which I'd picked up for $46k in early 2018, which was totaled in a bad accident.

Moving over to Genesis, I was able to pick up a 2019 G70 3.3 Sport RWD - Santiago Silver for $43,000 drive out, including Texas Tax and fees (about $2.6K). Pre-tax amount was about $40K after some "non-removable" dealer addons were added. Sticker price was $50,770.

This month (December) Lease Cash is the same as Balloon Cash incentives, which is $4750 for a 2019 3.3 G70.
This can be combined with $1K incentive on 2019 model, bringing total manufacturer incentives on the 2019 3.3 to $5750.
this amount excludes the competitive incentive ($1K) or First Responder discount that can be combined (I didn't qualify for either)

I opted to do the balloon finance option, which warrants it's own thread as there's not much info here whereas the Stinger forum has lots more info (I didn't do this when I picked up my Stinger, missing out on large manufacturer cash incentives). I went with baloon finance with the intention to purchase the car outright; it's also required in TX to avoid double taxation vs traditional lease.

I discovered a method to get Circle A pricing & used it to begin dealer price negotitations (it can be combined with the manufacturer incentives). This levels the playing field across all dealers, eliminating a lot of dealer markup BS. Then it's minor negotiations to get to a good number that all parties can agree to.
  • Important note: dealers will not discount below Circle A pricing, if you try to use the certificate due to restrictions from Hyundai and how they're compensated -- you need to try and get a dealer to match and beat Circle A pricing with a dealer discount, where they have more flexibility

In addition to the above I also purchased GPP - Genesis Protection Plan. There's not much info on this plan and extended warranty from Genesis either and I can make a thread on everything I've learned during my research, if there's interest.
  • 10yr / 120K miles "bumper to bumper" coverage from Genesis -- with $0 deductible for~$2.7K ontop of the price above.

Overall, I'm happy I was able to get a fully loaded G70 + extended warranty from Genesis for less than what I paid for my Stinger. There's clearly many shared tech features from the Stinger, but it's a more luxurious feel in the G70, with greater attention to details.

Outstanding. Also, best color+trim combo. 😉

Thoughts on differences between you new G70 vs your old Stinger so far? When I test drove the Stinger, while the power between the two was very very similar, I felt the G70 was a little more responsive and lively feeling (both were AWD) in terms of handling, also the steering had a tiny bit more feedback to it. On top of this, I really do appreciate the rear LSD in AWD configs (along with a real drift mode). Even so, I still liked the Stinger a lot, especially the rear cabin and trunk/hatch space.

Nice color and they left off the front plate...bonus. Mine is off too and have no plans to install it. We gamble some being in Texas but I’ve had little trouble on front plates and have not used them for years. Enjoy your G70. Let us know about G70 sightings in your area. I’m in Arlington area and have seen only one G70 in the last 5 months or so.
