  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Official 0-60 & 1/4 mile thread

Good times for stock for sure. You got the elevation on your side once you start getting mods and a tune!!!!

edit- I need to come down to where you are running tho for that da. Any speedways near you?
Pretty sure the closest is only 1/8th mile :( and that on a normal day is at least 1.5 hrs drive away from me.

Outstanding! Is this using launch control? Or are you just flooring it from a standstill? Auto shifts?

Damn! For some reason I always thought Fontana was only 1/8th mile, a bit of google says I'm very wrong. So about 50 mins with no traffic, and 1.5hrs with,

No LC, Custom setting - everything on sport and suspension set at comfort. 91 fuel and a smidge under 1/2 a tank. It was kinda dry and chilly this morning.

Going out again a bit earlier tomorrow morning.

Nice. You can get a better time than that. Use launch control and see how it goes. Then after that, try it a few more times but try to manually shift - shift a bit early from 1st to 2nd, and a little less early from 2nd to 3rd.

I bet you could shave off another tenth or two.

It may be I’m not 100 percent sure. I’ll double check on that

I’m all about leaving the car in auto now 😂

I've tried LC a few times but seem to get better times without. Too much wheel spin when it comes on boost with LC.

I've been reading some of y'alls posts with regards to manual shifting. Thinking about 5.5k rpm 1st to 2nd and then 5.7k rpm after?

Oh dang, sorry - I didn't realize you were RWD. As for manually shifting, I think that's a good start. On my car it seems best if I click to 2nd at about 5.25k, then 2nd to 3rd at 5.75k like you're saying. It may be different on yours!

For whatever reason, mine seems to shift faster when I manually shift. Ever since I installed my JB4 I've had somewhat inconsistent shift times.

It does look like Fontana is in fact a 1/4 mile. I’m gonna try to find a test n tune day on a Saturday and maybe get @MG8 to go with for a day trip

@Toddasaurus Curious, do you click the shifter when you see 5.25k or before so it actually shifts at 5.25k?

That's when I actually click it. So it completed the shift a little later than that.

Did some runs today, full auto, using LC. Made sure gps turned on to capture the other data for you guys. Ran a little bit slower but not by much. Also, I previously said I was on 91 octane but it's 93, my apologies.

Nice!! Just keep working on it a little at a time and you will learn exactly what your specific car likes the most. It makes me want to re think my letting the car shift auto mentality though haha

If it makes you feel better this was my 0-60 with full bolt ons and stock tune using launch control

I picked up a Dragy the other week so I could tune my clutching on my snowmobile. Now that the snow is gone, I tried it on the G70 3.3T. This is stock on 91oct (18" winter wheels/tires), Sport mode. No LC, automatic mode. Next will be after I put my intakes back in (was in for an oil change the other week), JB4 on Map 1, then Map 2.

Three runs....different days, temps, slope.

I'm surprised a bit how inconsistent it is. I don't like how we have to screen shot the darn results to view them, and when saving runs and labeling them, I've yet to be able to read the entire description I've saved. Is there a different way to view the ENTIRE description I've typed and saved?

There is a storage of all your runs where you can go back to reference them
