So if you are leasing I would recommend not going passed intakes.Hey guys,
Wanted to pop in here to get an idea of where I should go next for some simple bolt-ons and what the gains are on those. Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to tune map 6 with a friend due to the stay at home orders.
However, I'd like to reach out and see where you guys got the most benefit after the JB4/plugs etc. Right now I'm considering FMIC, intakes, or perhaps some modifications to the exhaust. I'll probably pick up some boostane and go for other maps as well, but I was wondering where you guys saw most secondary improvement.
I'm not sure if I'll be keeping this after the lease (might go for the GV80, but also maybe a Tesla, we'll see), so I'm not sure how good of an idea a WMI kit would be, but definitely would consider it. If anyone could provide some feedback that would be sweet!
As far as what helps I have everything and my car absolutely screams. Just waiting to get to sea level after this virus so I can take a stab at the platform world record. Everything helps. But intakes to me did the most as far as Bolt ons alone. They helped my throttle response for sure. But and response it helps the FMIC for sure takes away and then some. Before my FMIC I would get spool around 1500 rpm and now I don’t get it till around 2200. It definitely creates a good chunk of lag. But with that being said when you are WOT you are never that low so it helps keep air cooler thus creating more power.
So my two cents would be get some intakes and leave it like that u til you decide if you are going to keep it or not. I bought my car so I’m in full send mode
