I know your car would be killing it if you were down here.Watching times drop is a bit addicting. You have one of the best tracks in the nation to run at as well. If not the best one. You will have a huge advantage with da so your car should be very very quick with just the tune one map 2
I don’t think it would be to bad on the brake system itself. I think my launch method is much much more demanding on The systemDo you guys know how rough doing the parking brake launch that Slip does is on the system?
I don't want to melt the brakes. I've only done it three times at this point.
Although did find out you can brake boost and it's effective from a 35-40 roll. Pretty hard snap back, but it's a bit finicky and it can also just bog down.

Yeah, it builds some boost and then I let it go pretty quick. Brakes don't move, so there can't be any wear.
The brakes should be able to handle the brake snip just fine. The parking brake, however, i think uses shoes on the inside of the rotor's hat in the rears. I really don't know how much torque those things can handle....which is part of the reason why I have been hesitant to try the e-brake method. Even so, @Slip_Angle is having excellent success with it, along with several Stinger owners! That said, even the parking brake system has got to be pretty good.
The Brembos, though, can handle whatever you throw at them.
@FornicatorSteve - how are you brake boosting from a roll...?
OK, I have an update. I just saw some video on the news and when they passed the state cop the Audi was a few lengths ahead. They also showed the two drivers, handcuffed, in the back of the cruiser laughing.Last night our local TV news reported that two men were arrested and cars towed for drag racing on the street. Speeds over 125 mph.
The cars were a Mustang and Audi. They reported all this information but did not say who won!. Totally irresponsible reporting to leave out the most important details.
I'm excited! I believe I'm going to OSW tomorrow or some point this week!
I'm gonna try a run on map 4 for giggles. But I'd love to get some baselines on map 0 and map 2 and then see how much the intake and FMIC help.
Also looking at some wheels that are about 19.5 pounds each in bronze, I think it may go well with the bronze in the headlights. I'm thinking of wrapping the dark chrome in a satin bronze to match.
I'll definitely post the slips!
Are you going to be using something to boost octane for map 4?I'm excited! I believe I'm going to OSW tomorrow or some point this week!

93 on map 4 for half the boost in valet mode. Get the "most improved" sticker. Are you going to be using something to boost octane for map 4?
Oh are you still on the older firmware?93 on map 4 for half the boost in valet mode. Get the "most improved" sticker.
So far I had two runs, tried the parking brake but it slipped and triggered me "going" so that was a 13.1.
Normal launch control on map 2 is 12.8 at 110.
Possibly, I actually have no idea. Let me go check lol.Oh are you still on the older firmware?
If you are v15 the valet map will be 8 now. The the new map 4 is the previous map 5Possibly, I actually have no idea. Let me go check lol.
