Guys where in the manual page does it talk about using ACEA A5/B5 cant find it. 2017-2020 g80 3.8 L
For most G80 years it is page 8-7 in the Owners Manual. Available online here.
TinsleyC provided the page from his owners manual in post #70 above. It says ACEA A5 or above.
ACEA B5 is diesel engines specification (not applicable - yet ;) ).

Page 8-7. Don't get hung up on it though. They also state:
: For better fuel economy, it is recommended to use the engine oil of
a viscosity grade SAE 5W-30 (ACEA A5). However, if the engine oil
is not available in your country, select the proper engine oil using
the engine oil viscosity chart.

It is mostly a mileage and extended interval thing. It does not perform miracles. Note they say it is not suitable for some engines but no reason why. If you change on a regular basis you may even be better off with out it.

ACEA A5/B5 Stable, stay-in-grade Engine Oil intended for use at extended Drain Intervals in Passenger Car & Light Duty Van Gasoline & Diesel Engines designed to be capable of using Low Viscosity Oils with HTHS Viscosity of 2.9 to 3.5 mPa*s. These Oils are unsuitable for use in certain Engines - consult vehicle-OEM’s owner’s manual/handbook in case of doubt.

most big brands support this though. Mobil 1 5w-30 , pennzoil plat and ultra platinum, and Total®️ If you heard about that. Do you change your oil every 5k or 7.5k ?

I used to change at 7500 for the past few cars over about 20+ years, never had a problem. Now that I drive a lot less I change 6 months. Dealer uses Castrol Syn blend.

It has a 10/100 warranty on the engine and will be traded before that so I don't worry but still take good care for the next guy..

If you have the PDF open, press Ctrl-F (find). Type in ACEA and press enter.

So sir in other words its not a deal breaker whatsoever? Acea A5/b5 doesnt protect the engine better per se ? The most important is the grade , acea A5/b5 is negligible??

Correct. It may give you .00003 mpg more but I've never seen real numbers on it. If that is the oil used for the EPA testing they will specify it. All modern oils are pretty good these days.

The old cast iron chevy v8's were crude compared to today's engines and needed oil changes every blue moon, but today's smaller/lighter/higher stresses engines without/without turbos and/or with cam adjusting need to be clean inside. When you start producing 300+ HP out of a 4 cyl engine in a heavy car you need to expect to do oil changes unless you plan on trading it in every couple of years. All IMHO. The key thing is to change your oil plus filter at least at the intervals suggested by Hyundai. Filter quality matters and I would suggest sticking with the Hyundai filter to prevent having problems with your warranty. We bought a used G80 with the 3.8 V6 and after some miles added by us it had an engine problem caused by sludge buildup and the cam phasing. We change the oil more often than the light duty suggested times even though the car is driven on long commute trips and not city traffic. But didn't know if the original owner kept up with things or just kept his costs down and skipped things. We think it was serviced by El Cheapo drive through oil change places because the drain plug was stripped out and had a bubba brand replacement. In our case we got lucky and the repair was all covered by our extended warranty else I think would have been a $2K-$3K repair bill otherwise.
