  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Has anybody done the loyalty owner offer? $1000 rebate for current Genesis owners, just wondering what I need to provide in order to qualify for it.

I'm assuming the registration that you keep with your insurance card...you know, the one the cops ask for when they pull you over? :)

Some sort of proof of ownership from Texas car department. In Illinois, it's called Secretary of State

Here in TX, what you need is the paper that you tore your registration sticker from. That is your registration receipt, which has all the details of of the vehicle (VIN, make/model, etc.) as well as your name/address/etc.

If you bought the car from a dealer, and they did the registration for you, then the registration receipt - an the sticker on it - would have come with your new license plate.

Unless you have paid off your loan, or just own the vehicle out right, you will not have possession of your Title.

Yea I figured that's what I needed. I just need to find it or I guess I can go get another one from the DPS. Thanks.

I believe you can get a duplicate receipt from the Tax Assessor's Office of your county of residence. In TX, DPS just does the driver's license and such.

If near Dallas, check out Freeman in Irving. MSRP is what they charge and don't go over. Larry Chase has been with Freeman over 20 years.
Looks like they are no longer doing MSRP. The first day I checked they just had a $995 addon for tint & clear shield, now its $1995 and they added a dash cam and I have not been able to get in contact with Larry Chase. Did you recently purchase your car from them?

Anyone purchased a G70 in 2023? Looking to see if prices and incentives are back to reality. I am looking to buy either a 2023 new, or a used 2022 by March. Trading my Stinger GT and looking to see which option makes more sense. Used Sport Prestige models seem to be hovering around 40-42 locally for 2022s with about 20k on them.

I just bought a new 'demo' Capri Blue / Sanstone 2023 G70 3.3 SP for $49,990 with 4k miles and full manufacturers warranties/maintenance and dealer financing incentives. They added a 7yr warrantied ceramic coating and the original sticker was 59k (57k 3.3 SP msrp price with 2k ceramic coating). Not sure it's the best deal ever but I adore the spec and love the car!

I paid $30,000 for a 2019 3.3 Prestige in March with 19K on it. I love the car so far. The bumper to bumper warranty runs out in March of 2024 though. 🫤

I paid $30,000 for a 22 2.0 RWD Prestige last month with 23,300 miles. The car had been very well taken care of. Had to go to Md to get it so I had a nice little road trip back home with it.

My 2.0T is dropping value like a rock. I only have 7K miles on my immaculate 1+ yr-old '23 Sport Prestige, paid $46K MSRP (plus TTL), and was quoted $33K by Carvana recently. Geez. And guess with the 2.5T it's only going to get worse. Oh well. Might just keep it.

Have you got quotes from Car Max and Vroom? It might be interesting to see what they quote. I recently was getting quotes from all of them and sometimes they'd vary by a grand or two - And sometimes they were all close.

I can relate to this. I was thinking about buying a new 2024 GV70 with an MSRP of $69,660 (fully loaded). I've heard that Genesis' are notorious for losing their value quickly, so I went out to Kelly Blue Book (kbb.com) to see what a used 2023 fully loaded, excellent condition GV70 with only 20 miles would yield on trade in. I was shocked to see even in excellent condition (which dealers would never give you) the GV70 lost over $20k in value. Yikes!! I know all vehicles depreciate (it's a fact of life), however, $20k in depreciation for the exact same vehicle with only 20 miles is way too much. I hope perspective Genesis buyers are aware of this level of depreciation.

Supply and demand. Used car prices are coming down. Hence, a product is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Luxury vehicles take the biggest hit. Demos and certified used are the way to go, If you can find them.

We got the most for our trade from Vroom (almost new Hyundai Tucson) and got the most car for our money from Vroom as well (our new to us 21 3.3 Sport Prestige loaded to the gills in immaculate condition w/ 25k miles for $35k). Will never shop at a brick & mortar dealership again as this was the best car transaction we've ever had, and I'm 61 yrs old w/ probably 40 cars in my past :)
