Holy moly. The entire written knowledge of humans isn't nearly that big! What comes with it? Hours of 4K video? It's hard to imagine that much code or vector graphics.

It's packed with Oompa-Loompas that works in the battery pack!

It makes more sense to spin up a separate thread to discuss the content of the update, rather than using the original thread used for discussing the anticipation of the update.

I will be posting detailed findings of update features here.

Updated. AdroidAuto looks good. HUD works with wireless AA. Have not really driven yet but I see arrows for navigation. This was my biggest complain with wired or adapter.

Just to add - those running the update - it took about 2hrs end to end. It kicked off automatically when I stopped in my driveway. I didn't really get a chance to choose.


Will check other features later.

Correct, it appears to be the consensus for now.

The "List of eligible vehicles available to download" page is entirely unchanged from the April 2022 update.

Or another scenario is that a developer responsible for the update to their content delivery Network thinks they have but in fact they missed something and the update program is still referencing the old version. That to me is worse because they might not even know about it. Has anyone actually reported this as an issue to genesis? So many things can go wrong in this process but whatever it is, it's par for the course.

Mine is doing this right now, so something is live.

JW.USA.ccIC.001.009.240826 is the navigation software version.

Same here... Turned vehicle on and the download indicator is spinning.

Interestingly, it lists version JW.xxx.ccIC.001.007.240422 in the update for 23/24 GV60, which is the exact version we received via OTA a few months back.

Update: The vehicle started downloading version JW.USA.ccIC.001.009.240826 via OTA after being left in Utility Mode. (2 hours and counting!)

Update completed and wireless CarPlay works with Apple Maps navigation both in the instrument cluster and the HUD.

The charging screen for the instrument cluster looks to be updated as well.
