KDM LED headlight question

I don't know maybe m410 with afsl, but mine is m400 and if you open your hid headlight and look inside you will see two black boxes with 4 wires connected to them

but in Led headlight only one box is there (remove cover with 4 scews,than deatach cooling fan), and this is vertical corrector. Maybe,maybe this one box can move them not only up and down but from side to side...oh I even tried to give money for some korean guy for acsess to genesisclub.co.kr but they all refused because for regestraion you need to provide your korean social id.

그 결과 여전히 AFLS OFF 경고등이 점등 됩니다.

3.메뉴얼 검색 결과 ECU 교환시 스캐너를 이용하여 파라메타 다운로드를 시행해야

한다고 합니다. 그래서 지인에게 스캐너를 빌려 파라메타 다운로드를 시행했습니다.

4.AFLS경고등은 삭제 되었으나 시동을 켤때 헤드램프가 상하 세레모니를 하지 않습니

다. 참으로 난감...

5.고장코드 검색 결과 HS-CAN과 LIN 통신은 정상적으로 되나 파라메타 다운로드 값에

이상이 있답니다....(여기서 좌절.............) 고장코드는 요거 하나 뜸...

6.혹시나해서 스캐너 SW Ver을 확인하니 2011년 1월 버젼입니다.... 제페리는 4월 경 출

시가 되었지요...

7.GIT 홈페이지 들어가서 스캐너 버전별 업데이트 내용확인하니 4월버젼에 제페리

AFLS ECU 관련 파라메타 업데이트 내용이 있습니다.

8.4월 버젼이 업데이트되어 있는 스캐너를 구해서 다시 ECU 프로그램을

해봐야 할 듯 합니다....

일단 여기까지 입니다......^^

I tried to use google translator explain but not accurate, seems need to upgrade delaer's diagnosis device to newest version(8.4), and re-program ECU maybe resolve. It's my comprehensive.

Today my dealer recived answer from official hyundai korea that thay dont know anything about those led headlights,and dont have schemes for them,because it is oem product from some Korean manafucaturer. They translated picture and that doesent give us nothing ( I think only way to make this things work is to gain acsess to geneclub.co.kr , if somebody had a Korean friend we can bribe him (collect some sum of money via paypal for example) to register on forum.

Really? If they don't know about led headlight, why they make advertisement using it?

Koreans...they know about headlights,they don't have schematics for them. And they don't know how to activate afsl.

Anyone have a 2012 stock HID set up they want to sell after changing to the Prada LEDs in the United States? I would be interested in purchasing them for the fair price. I need the whole headlight assembly with the HID ballast installed. I'm looking to change out my 2012 Premium stock halogen projectors (with HID kit) to the real/stock HID assembly.

On another note, does anyone know how many watts of power the LED headlights draw? Just curious.

the samething as me experienced. You can find safe box under the left of steering wheel, ask delaer to fix the AFLS flicker. BTW, I have migrated the old AFLS bracket to the new one, and it's work well.

I spent 2 days on modify and test how to let AFLS work, and it's done. The first, if you have buy headlight like mine on above pics, you need migrate AFLS bracket to new headlight and remove the LED arround lens due to it's aluminium plate could block lens move left and right

Where did you get it so that there is a white ring around the light?

it's non-AFLS headlight on korean, I compared with EQQUS and the white ring as the same, and now I have remove it because it make AFLS error.

So i got those text transleted...so far nothing (

[The guy who is writer is going to try to modify to connect Full LED headlamp for AFLS movement together.

1. At the result to install new headlamp and ECU, the lamp is working normal but AFLS off warning lamp on in Cluster.2. Revised connector pin compares with previous ECU and new ECU.

3. The guy got the news to install parameter file on scanner when person exchange new ECU

4. Thus AFLS warning lamp goes off but the lamp does not move to up and down while the engine start

5. At the result to check trouble code, communication is normal with Hi-scan and LIN communication line but parameter download is something wrong.

6. Thus he had checked the scanner sw version, it was Jan. 2011 and Jeffery launched around April...

7. He confirmed the scanner sw version via GIT homepage.

8. He will ECU update again with Hi-scan April 2011 sw version update later.

So long.....

yes ,with the same try but failed, I asked my korea friend, he said just one shop in Suwon could let it work, even part of korean interchange to prada LED have not AFLS function, but they don't care because their base version headlight didn't have AFLS

I have access to that site - only works from my home computer though.

Besides... once in, it's impossible to navigate without understanding Korean - I use the built-in translator that comes with Chrome, but it's not really useful enough. I just go there for the pictures!
