  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2011 Genesis 4.6 bluetooth music A2DP and AVRCP not working

Thanks Bullard_07! Works perfectly.
Just figured out as well that you have to push the aux button twice to hear it.
I am using the new Windows Phone 7 (HD7) and it streams in super high quality.

Not trying to flog a deceased equine, but is there a potential software update "fix" to this or is the only recourse either cable or an aftermarket bluetooth device?

Thanx!

Just traded in my 2011 Kia Optima (with the tech package, but not UVO) for a 2011 Hyundai Genesis 4.6. My Optima was able to stream audio and even contral track fwd/back from the steering wheel when using Pandora or Stitcher apps on my Android.

HUGE disappointment that the top of the line Hyundai can't stream Bluetooth audio! I didn't even think about it when I bought the car. Saw Bluetooth and figured it must work, right? So very wrong. We are several years out and the thread is pretty old, but has anyone run into a software / firmware patch that adds this?

The tech package lacks ad2p profile for Bluetooth which is the streaming profile. There is no way to add it since the Bluetooth stack doesn't support it

There isn't one.

I wish I would of read this entire thread before I bought my 2011. I am a Spotify user and the fact I can listen to it through Bluetooth is stupid.

Any updates to this thread?

I just plug in my phone to the auxiliary in port to listen through my phone.
