    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2011 Price Paid

I live in Texas and I got mine for 36,950. It's a 2011 V8 with the Tech package, Titanium Grey w/Jet black int w/walnut wood fully loaded. Listed for 43,875 and the dealer added tint for free. Traded in a 2006 Lincoln LS and out the door financed 30K and some change. I've already added staggered 20's 255/35 front and 295/30 rear and custom rear spoiler and re-bagged with the Genesis wings. People are so confused as to what it is. I keep em thinking

36950 for V8, WOW... price of V6 for V8. Great Deal!!!!

In Bay Area, circle price is lowest which is $38250 for V8 and 36682 for V6. Again, yours is an excellent deal.

If you financed $30K, it seems like they didn't give you that much for your Lincoln LS.

$36,950 is a helluva price, but if they stole your trade-in to make up for it then :confused:

What dealership gave you that price? - I may buy another one early next year.

They gave me 8K for my LS with 90K miles on it. I paid 11K for it a year ago after my tour to the sand box.

What dealership did you buy this car from? thx.

I am from Raleigh. I am planing to buy 2011 Genesis and 31k is very good price for OTD. Is it possible to get dealer's name ? So i can get that price. Thanks

OK, new guy here. I've been researching the Genesis over the last 18 months and finally took one home 2 days ago. While I thought I knew a lot about the car when I went to the dealer, my eyes weren't opened until I took the test drive - done deal!

2011 4.6, black on black. Hyundai made it easy by making the tech package standard on the 2011.

Came in a shade under $40k before TTL - and I agree with MSitter (apologize if I have the handle wrong) that price before TTL is all that matters here. I'm in So CA so add 8.75% sales tax plus a hefty CA registration/license fee - these are noncontrollables. And, as someone else noted, if you're happy with the deal, all is good. I'm good. Best car buying experience I've ever had and the car is AWESOME!

Just bought my Genesis today. It was a bit of an ordeal with the dealer, just because they could never be sure when the car was going to arrive. I was told Monday, then Tuesday, then for sure Wednesday. It actually got there Thursday night and I picked it up today (Friday). Other than that, they were pretty nice and I'm happy with the price I got. 2011 3.8 Premium + Nav for base price of $32,777. I bought the Resistall protection for 299 and bought an extended warranty for $591 (originally quoted at 1700).

No special love for Genesis buyers that I could tell, but their shop is nice and clean. I get a loaner car also when I take mine in for the Resistall application.

Picked up my new Genesis 4.6 (titanium/saddle) last night, 37,900 +TTL (included $1500 Competitive Vehicle Rebate) and got what I consider to be a very fair trade-in on my Subaru. Fitzgerald Hyundai, North Bethesda, MD.

Wanted to thank everyone on this forum for their contributions, would not have purchased this car without the info available here.

Finally got a fully loaded V6 Black on Cashmere for my wife yesterday. Her first brand new car:D (All she had were hand-me-downs:().

Paid $36K.

The V8 for 38K or under sounds like the right price before TT&L.

Just remember guys.....anytime a trade is involved, there is no accurate way to state what your actual gross purchase price is. It is only when the trade is out of the equation to know for certain.

On 9-25-2010 I finally bit the bullet and purchased a 2011 Genesis 4.6. I sent emails to my local dealer and 3 other dealers in the cities of Columbia and Charlotte. I could see that each dealer had a white pearl with the champagne interior so I knew that the cars should be equipped the same way. I was able to join the Hyundai Circle and received price quotes from the home office of about 39,400.

I contacted Bob Mayberry Hyundai in Monroe NC and was given the best offer the first time. Pricing was great and I was happy as you will see shortly. My salesman, Paul Moore said he had one on the lot and he would sell it for XX Dollars on a Wednesday. He faxed me a buyers order on Thursday and I delayed calling him as I wanted to see if there was any matching or better offers. No better offers came in. I called him on Friday to confirm the offer he said that car was sold, but he thought he could get another one delivered that afternoon and it would be ready on Saturday. I told him to get the car and I sent him a $500 deposit. The dealership went to Hendersonville and picked up my car and it was ready when I got there on Saturday morning. Pin stripes, Ipod cable, trunk net, and paint protection at no additional cost on the car I received. Man, I'm Happpy!! Its beautiful.

List Price $43,000.
Destination 800.
List price 43,800

Sales price 37,870
Admin Fees 599
Cash price 38,469
SC State Tax 300
License Tag fee 39
Total sales price 38,808
Competitive Rebate -1,500
Cash on Delivery 37,308

I do not know how the Hyundai Circle pricing was figured in but I'm not complaining.

Ok, finally took the plunge and bought the 2011 4.6 Genesis Titanium Gray on 10/12. Final price: $37,244 + ttl. Price included the tint, cargo tray and net, ipod cable, mats and the genesis badge. Thanks to everybody on this forum for providing me all the details that helped me be more knowledgeable about the car and the purchase experiences.

What city and dealership did you get this at?

Hyundai dealership in McKinney, TX.

There are about 4 Hyundai dealerships around where I live (Seattle). Only one dealership had the exact color and package combination I wanted. Black on black 3.8 with technology package.

I paid $36,500 and they gave me free ipod cable, wheel locks, and cargo tray. Other dealerships couldn't offer me that price and tried to convince me to get the one with premium package with navigation. Technology package seem to be selling very quick. 2 of the dealerships had them listed on their website but they were both sold when I called.

Just bought it 11/17/10 Brand New. Not a demo or program car.

2011 4.6 Genesis all options including:
* full tinted windows
* iPod Cable
* Trunk cargo mat
* Trunk net
* Trunk Badge
* Mats

$43,900 Sticker

$37,540 purchase price before TTT:eek:

When I got to dealer, there were no surprises. Actually, my payment came out a dollar less than expected. Guys were great and very helpful. Tony and Eric were my contacts. Tony gave me the full client delivery VIP service. He reviewed everything about the exterior and interior including all the tech and software funtions. This was the first dealership who had anyone who knew how to show the Hyundai Genesis...and Tony did a great job.

They found me the car color combination I wanted at another dealer. They picked up the car and had the windows tinted and badge replaced before I arrived. Thanks to a bunch of great guys. Got to give a shout out to the finance manager too....Pig Soooooie!

MODS: Can I post dealer info below? [Gambler: Sure looks like it ;)]
