  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2015 Genesis Sedan shakes/wobbles

Thanx - I'll keep you posted but it will probably be a couple of weeks now before we hear anything. I sure am sick and tired of this vibration!

Also would like to hear of any updates. I am in a similar situation here which I will explain, if anybody has any input please let me know. I recently just bought a 2015 Genesis V6 Ultimate and up until a couple weeks ago I am having vibration through the steering wheel and seat. I have been to the dealer three times for "balancing" and on the last visit they stated my left front tire is out of spec on the road force machine so it will be replaced tomorrow. Funny thing is, today there has been zero vibration in my short drive which leads me to believe this isn't a tire issue. I have contacted Hyundai Corporate and was told I will be contacted by the regional director in three days. If there is any updates with the lemon case or similar issues please provide info, as I will update the post as well. Thanks!

Do you have the vibration change when you turn on/off the AC?

Any updates ckon?

My attorney sent the "Last Chance" letter to HMA about three weeks ago and received no response which means the suit will proceed. He says it will take about a month before we're likely to hear anything from HMA's attorneys which will make it about the middle of October at the earliest before there's any more progress.

I may be shooting myself in the foot by making these "public" posts instead of being quiet, but at this point I think we all deserve a little info about what's going on here. If I'm risking my own case, so be it. Keeping things close to the vest may be advisable, but on the other hand nobody's told me to be quiet. :) It's possible that if there ever is a settlement I won't be able to divulge it, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

The most important advice I can offer anyone is to make sure you report your problems as soon as possible and keep accurate, complete records stating the problem and whether the tech and/or the writer experienced it. These will be critical if and when you ever have to pursue a manufacturer. My attorney said that he would usually avoid "vibration" complaints, but it's the presence of my complete records that make him think we have a good chance for a solution. They prove that my car meets "lemon" definitions in my state.

Glad to hear Steve is taking care of you, ckon.

As for talking about it on here, I'm pretty sure you'll be fine!
