  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Damn. I can see the discounting getting smaller and smaller....

Where's the link to the Car and Driver article. I can't find it.

The April is just out on stands, so it will not be on-line right away (unless someone scans it). The C&D website still refers to the Feb issue.

Apologies if I missed these being posted, but there are several Jalopnik articles on the 2015 Genesis. One has a bunch of videos that breakdown all the technology onboard.

The Jalopnik article has a video of the automatic parking assist feature. I believe this option is off the table for the U..S version. Too bad, I would have liked that.

Were you at the show? Still trying to confirm whether or not illuminated sill plates are available on the 3.8. Another poster saw the car in dark grey with same interior and also said they think they found their color. Can not wait to see the new model in person and of course drive it. If the '15 3.8 demonstrates sub 6 second 0-60 and decent 40mph-60mph passing times, I may give up my 4.6. Still holding out for the 5.0 AWD though...

Was not at the show, just found the video on Youtube.

May also be a repeat, but this walk-around at the Toronto show has one in black in excellent HD. I think I have picked my color...

1. Check out the poor fit of the right taillight at 1:20. The section on the trunk does not align with the section on the fender. This is not the first '15 I've seen this problem on.

2. Note the Dunlop tires. DUNFLOPS! Come on, Hyundai!

1. Look closely. The trunk is not fully closed.

Talked to the new car sales manager at my Hyundai dealer today. He is looking for the 2015's to start showing up in May. The AWD 5.0 he thinks may show up in July or August.

I noticed that as well. Any of the show car pictures you have seen since release has gap issues around the hood and trunks. I think it is just that it is the show cars and they haven't spend the time to adjust any of the gaps.

As for the Dunlop tires, I remember reading somewhere that they will have Hankook tires but that could be just the Korean versions. Will definitely work in a different tire in the deal.

Nothing new to Hyundai. It is basically a paid commercial. Quaker State and Pennzoil are brands owned by SOPUS (Shell Oil Products US).

If you look on the other side it does not match up either so that would indicate to me that the truck is not closed.

^Agreed, but have seen other pics too.

Look again. The trunk isn't closed in those pics either. I've seen the car in person and there were no fitment issues anywhere.

As for the tires, I mentioned that the 3.8 had Dunlops, but the 5.0 had Hankooks, neither of which are particularly good tires. It's doubtful, but I hope that Hyundai offers some sort of sport package that includes summer tires. The 2015 has staggered wheels; give themproper tires.
