Except for the fact that the Azera has only been out for a year and is built on a FWD platform as opposed to this cars obvious RWD proportions...

The proportions we see on this vehicle are most certainly proportions of a RWD platform.

It kind of looks like the wing is going to be on the grill this time as there is a square where an emblem would normally be. (Similar to Infiniti, etc) But again - who knows!

THe original grill was no beauty queen. Somehow this car looks more stretched- cab-rearward. Perhaps cladding diseption. Doesn't have to be all new for me- but a slight morphing into newer. HUD, sport seats, paddle shifters, AWD, some other tweaks without increasing pricing that makes currrent GEN buyers look more seriously at AUDI, MB, BMW.

Noticed orange light in side mirror in one of the shots- BSM.
Azera nor K9 have that correct?

The roofline and overall greenhouse of the new Forte are very different looking...to me at least.

The profile shots of this remind me of a BMW 7-Series.

Let's hope for a 6sp manual in the R-spec... or at least a 7sp DSG... I don't want to hear any mention of a 10sp slushbox.

If the talk of the TT 5.5 making 600+ WHP comes true, and the sheet metal and interior comes together you can count me in.

Looks like a lardy Sonata now. Bleech. They keep raking back the windshields until it's NO fun to get into and out of such a car. A sedan is a sedan, and raking it back like a coupe makes it unappealing to me. But that's me.

What he said. I've looked at a few convertibles with retractable roofs. The windshields are raked so far back I'd need a checkout at Cirque du Soleil to get in and out of them smoothly. I guess the designers have to make a few compromises when the requirement is to be able to stuff the roof in the trunk.

The roofline is obviously more raked back than before but I think they found a nice middle ground between function and form. These latest shots show the greenhouse to be less rakish than what I thought at first.

According to the original source page, this is the '13, not the '14 Equus and it's the KDM version. I haven't heard much about the '14 Equus, but if the '14 Genesis has more bells and whistles (such as HUD), the Equus certainly will too.
