The new interior is Meh but at least they have removed the Sonata like AirConditioning cluster and added an analog clock. That's my main gripe with the current interior (it just looks like too cheap plastic).

That said things are hard to read from spy photos. Will be interesting when it's revealed.

From what I experience, car companies seem to be redoing their front ends to meet the moron Europeans. They have a few pedestrians hit every year by cars. So they created a regulation for how the cars toss a body over the hood to reduce injuries. That regulation blunts the front ends. Which makes drag worse, grills that look like a skank with his or her mouth open, and makes it hard to have a individual look.

European socialist trash estimate it will save a few lives a year. Why not force front end of cars to be made of sorbathane, or foam? Insane. So, any car that us a "global platform" will look like this one way or the other.

I'd bet the front will end up looking a lot more like an E class than the 300. The part that's really bothering me is the back edge of the rear doors. It looks like the window line gets suddenly disconnected, and that the door will bend out low and cut back in sharply. It looks like a design cue from the Equus that doesn't work on a smaller car.

From those latest shot I like the front end more. I'm tired of all those aggressive fronts. AUDI does ok (but looks like christmas light ornanments), Acura and Lexus are the worse. I feel very little for those cars.

I agree that the front will be more like the E which is a good thing. Mercedes do know how to make great looking front ends!. I do agree with the rear door issue. It also looks like the windows are smaller (i.e more door) then the current gen. Perhaps I'm mistaken. To me it doesn't seem to look better then my current model (which is good since I'm not trading )

Looks like the rspec is getting quad exhaust and bigger rear tires. Two things that were on my list.

If they wanted to copy Audi at all they should have looked at the A7...which would show them how to do an 8-window greenhouse without that INCREDIBLY FUGLY AND LAME AND LAZY DESIGN OF THAT TRIANGLE DIVIDING THE PASSENGER WINDOW AND THE 3RD WINDOW! Biggest design taboo ever. It has infected so many cars, it is bullshit. Way to ruin the car, Hyundai.

Seems to be the same pics as posted here. The rendered shots look killer. Not so sure the prototype looks as hot but it looks like a good update for the G. If they improve handling, refresh the interior and perhaps add 4wd they have a really good product on their hands

When will they remove the camouflage on the car!? I was planning to buy the new Genesis and would love to see this car without the camouflage both inside and outside so I can make up my mind if I like it or not.

I see good deals on the 2013 R-Spec locally but interior on that car is just too plain.
