I think I read somewhere that it will come out as a 2015 model...but I can't understand what happened to all the 2014's...I saw them update the Hyundai Circle site with 2014's so if I had to guess within the next few weeks/months.

2012's were out June/July for ex.

Hyundai Mistra concept. I saw the plate and Googled it. Seems that it's the inspiration for some of the curve on the Sonata YF's replacement and not the Genesis.

Also, rumor has it that it will be a Chinese exclusive model.

Just thought to share this, my dealership has the new 2014 Equus in stock and the interior is strikingly familiar to the spy shots of the "new genesis". My service manager just got back from a trip to see the new Genesis and shared a few pieces of information with me of which the only thing he said it was o.k. to share was the expected release date of Spring 2014 (branded as a 2015). They are also producing 2014's in very limited quantity just to tie over dealer stock until the new Genny's arrive. He also gave me a couple nice Genesis pens that he received during their meet and greet.

Any news about a leather dash like we have now, or are we destined to be blinded by a plastic wood dash at all model levels? One of the first big features that attracted me to the Genesis was the posh leather dash.

I know it's popular to hate the new Genesis' styling, but I like what I've seen so far.

It's hard to say with all that camo but from what I could see in the below video outside styling isn't too bad. That weird part in the rear window area seems to have been removed. Also from the limited photos I've seen for the interior, styling is definitely better than current model but I was hoping for more. Don't really care for the inverted vents next to the screen. Lexus GS dashboard looks nicer and having Equus and Corvette Stingray like LCD gauges would have been nice touch as well to give the car a more modern look and feel.

That is the North America release, not sure for the Korean market but one would imagine it should be earlier. It's set to debut during the NAIAS (North American International Auto Show) which runs from January 18-26th in Detroit Michigan.
