Ashtray is in one of the cupholders now. Hopefully there is a free coin holder option to replace the ashtray.

I have given up hope for a leather dash option. Too bad. That was one strong attraction in my '12 purchase.

A big step up from what? I've looked at the pics of the 2014 Genesis on their website and I don't see any difference between my 2013 R-Spec and the 2014 R-Spec - not a single one.

Genisis will not be built of a FF platform... it will be FR. The K7 / Azera is a FF platform.

A big step up from what? I've looked at the pics of the 2014 Genesis on their website and I don't see any difference between my 2013 R-Spec and the 2014 R-Spec - not a single one.

I think that's because the 2014 being discussed here is really the 2015 MY that will be unveiled in the USA soon and be sold later in 2014. The actual 2014 Genesis is the last of the first generation, with very few changes the last few years.

This thread is misnamed, leading to the confusion. Also, there is a minor change from 2013 to 2014 on the R-Spec - a heated steering wheel for the US market. The real changes (in platform) and features is the 2015 model shown in pictures in this thread, selling here later next year.

Of note - USDM pricing, specs have not been announced. The 2nd generation Genesis (2015 +) is still slated to be unveiled at NAIS 14'.

Looks like HTRAC AWD is a $2,363 upgrade in Korea. In 2009 MY a fully equipped Genesis in the US was $17,000 less than in Korea (although KDM version had air suspension and a few other upgrades), so it may be hard to compare KDM and US prices.

Korean pricing is up and tops out at the equivalent of $65.5k. Here's hoping they're just continuing to gouge their home market using their huge market share at home and we keep enjoying models that are significantly cheaper without a big hit in features.

Anyone have KDM top price for the 2013 or 2014 MY?
