  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2015 Optima Fog Lights on a Genesis

I would like to see the Cadenza LED fogs paired up with 12-14 headlamps. Mental picture of it is boss.

I just finished mine this week also, I pick up the car this weekend. You definitely need to find a body guy you trust, but not too hard after that.

Like to see pics of it once you pick it up.

Here is a night shot of Vipdout's

Very cool. However I'm more interested in why no one made the 2012-2014 LED strips the daytime lights or added nice LEDs instead of fogs. I would assume just adding some brighter LEDs under the existing strip and connecting them to the DRL wires would do it and they would go off at night too, more like this:

I have actually looked at doing what you have in the picture. The problem is taking up space on the foglights for aftermarket strips or not having bright enough LED's to even see as a DRL....

Those lines flow well with the headlight DRL's.

There's some guys on HIDplanet.com who did that to the Genesis coupe actually. I wish I was ballsy enough to screw around with my car but I feel like this would be relatively easy to do since we have the stock LED plastic stripe. This guy had to clear up the chrome painted plastic and add an LED strip behind it or put a tube in that gets lit up.

This plus a small strip along the fog light shape I think would look real nice.
