So, between friends at work and what I have found on the internet, it would seem that the 2016 Genesis coupe is "supposed" to have the 5.0 as an option. Now, supposedly Hyundai confirmed this but have not released the full drive train options and specs for it....YET. It is also rumored that the power output for said engine is supposed to be higher than in the sedan. But there are multiple rumors on that. Some say 429 as is in the Equus and previous generation Genesis sedan, some say around 440, and I believe i saw one that said it was supposed to rival the Challenger Hellcat in power which I highly doubt... I'm sure its doable, but not for factory specs.. Not to mention the price on that would put it near the Equus range.
Any thoughts or incites to all of this?
