Cool! I've been waiting for this.2016 Genesis on Hyundai USA website
http://hyundaiusa.com/genesis/
Odd that they're optional on the 3.8 and Not Available on the 5.0.Looks like the power rear sunshade and rear side sunshades are indeed gone on the USA 5.0 model![]()
Until you see the cars, I would not draw any conclusions yet. There are some other known errors in the documentation published so far.Odd that they're optional on the 3.8 and Not Available on the 5.0.

According to the 2016 Genesis "Specifications" page on the Hyundai USA website, it does look like the shades are N/A on the V8. Maybe they figure that V8 owners can afford to get their windows tinted? That would be a huge miss, if accurate. I use them all the time. Looks like the price dropped for 2016.
Sharp observation! Seems to explain everything. On that site it says "5.0 Adds or Substitutes" which means the items shown are in addition to the 3.8 model.

Not really - on the spec page Mark posted, it says "N/A" and not "Standard". That suggests they are not standard on the 5.0 (and no available options this year). As said, the site might be wrong - we'll have to wait until we see at least a window sticker for a 5.0.
Do I understand correctly that the only known difference between the 2015 and 2016 models is the addition of fog lights to the 2016 3.8 models?
I'm curious since I have a pretty decent offer on a 2015 model that has exactly the packages and color I want, and unless there is a really good reason to wait for a 2016 (fog lights are not something I care about), I'll probably get the 2015 they have in stock ...
Starting in 2016 model year, Hyundai has increased the warranty on the info-tainment system (audio, Nav, etc) to 5 years - 60K miles. For 2015 and prior years, it is 3 years - 36K miles. There are some other minor differences, but not a lot.Do I understand correctly that the only known difference between the 2015 and 2016 models is the addition of fog lights to the 2016 3.8 models?
