  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2020 G70 U.S. availability

Maybe not...The article said that the Korean 2020 G70 has a choice of carbon fiber trim.
Looks like it is according to the article. Man, how happy I would be if we got it in the US like this!

Saville silver seems to be darker/deeper than santiago silver? Or my eyes are just tricking me.

Although my Santiago Silver generally looks lighter than that, in some situations it looks dark like the picture you took. I think the presence of dark chrome, or light chrome, changes how our minds interpret the brightness of the silver. In your example is has regular chrome, so we may emphasize the darker tones in the silver, whereas Sport trimmed with dark chrome, our mind may focus on that opposite contrast and emphasize the lighter tones in the silver.

Either way, thanks for taking a picture of it!

Oh man, those are amazing. I really hope we can get aftermarket CF trim to replace those pieces. I want!

Thanks for this pic @CaliG70! I assume you took the pic yourself live? If so, did it look darker in person too? We need to get a pic of the Santiago Silver next to Savile Silver to be sure. If they indeed are different, then the Uyuni White is also different than Casablanca White; same for Vik Black / Victoria Black.

A video (with english translation) was released yesterday showing changes for 2020 to include carbon fiber, tires, etc

I think they are a year ahead so some of those may show up here in 2021.

I dunno. But I did just read on car and driver that the manual stick is staying and "The rest of the lineup is much the same as before, with prices going up a few hundred dollars for most trim levels. The 2.0T model starts at $36,445, a $550 uptick, the 3.3T model starts at $47,095, a $600 rise, and the stand-alone 2.0T Sport M/T trim level with the manual transmission starts at $39,495, $600 more than before. All-wheel drive remains a $2000 option for all automatic-transmission models, and the various Elite, Prestige, and Sport trim levels remain.
Newly available is a brown leather interior option, performance brakes for 2.0T Sport models, a slightly different wheel finish for the 18-inch wheels, and a power trunk lid for the 3.3T Prestige model."

I've seen a few 2020 2.0T Sport trims online. They have the side bolster seat controls so they're definitely 2020s. The brakes look like other 2.0T in that they aren't the Brembo calipers. So maybe the performance brakes are just the pad...?

Build a 2020 is now live. Brown leather is not available on 3.3T Sport :(

Can't get any NorCal dealers to contact me about a 2020 :(

Were the Dynamic and Design editions only for 2019? Just curious.

I am surprised that many of these US 2020's that are just now showing up in dealerships were made back in May/June of this year.

Cars were already in the US apparently and they were waiting for 2019 inventory to dwindle down
