This makes me even happier about getting SS. Truly one of a kind!
As car gets older, paint color change due to be exposed to the elements. If you need to paint some part of the car is better to buy the new paint from a reputable paint shop able to replicate (exact match) your actual paint color.Buy your paint now for Santiago Silver. 2-3 years, who knows?
That's what I'd be hoping for. Never been crazy about flat white/flat black on any car. Would hope the new black is more peralescent than before too.The white looks more pearl.
Today I had my first look at the new Savile Silver for 2020 and luckily they had a Santiago Silver G90 right next to it for comparison. After staring at it from a few angles and not saying anything, my wife said, "It looks nice". Then she asked what I thought... I hesitated for a bit and said, "Honestly I feel a little sick!" I've been shopping the G70 for some time and Santiago Silver was my color. Have not been in a hurry since my Infiniti still runs great, so was waiting for 2020 models to land before making a decision. As luck would have it, they discontinued my color for 2020.
So what's not to love about this Savile Silver for me? Well, it's a pretty heavy metallic and for some reason it just didn't sit well with me. I really prefer the Santiago Silver as it's a more understated look. It's not so much the color I don't care for in this Savile, but more the level of metallic that might look better on a boat.

Here is a pic of the Savile Silver and G90 Santiago Silver. Not a great pic, but at least shows the darker tint of Savile:

I will be wanting the 10-spoke wheels, so I will reserve final judgement until I see the color with 10-spokers and bright chrome trim. At this point, it's not looking good to me and I may either opt for another color (Adriatic Blue is my 2nd pick) or try to locate a 2019 in Santiago Silver if the incentives get good enough. It really sucks that after all this, I may have to settle for 2nd best... Frustrating.
I kinda thought you'd feel the same Todd!Completely understandable. I LOVE my Santiago Silver, it is definitely a unique and classy looking silver. The Saville Silver looks cheap and generic (ie like every other silver out there) by comparison I think.
I have to admit I sure love my Santiago Silver. The new Saville Silver (2020) I don't think contrasts as well with the black pillars as the Santiago Silver does.Santiago Silver was my first choice but the one I found had over 200 miles on it. That's a lot of test drives! Ended up settling for HG. Still look at the picture every now and then though. ☹

It’s definitely weird why they would have different colors within NA. The 2020 silver, black, and white are Korean spec from last year, correct? I wonder what the reasoning behind it is.Them Koreans are trying to confuse us. Be easier to manage paint operations with a standard color scheme than with multiple ones.
