  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

For the love of god, please learn to use punctuation that allows you to form normal length sentences.

Translated for you: "I've had the g70 for a little while now [and] I bought the borla s system. With the resonators off, it had a tin can sound. So, I just put mufflers on with the stock resonators. Sounds good, but not loud enough. I have been looking at the kuntswerk systems but I cant seem to get a hold of anyone. Does anyone have an email [address] for them?"
Come on man, some of is are in a hurry and it's just a forum. Not writing a freaking novel!

Wow you must be bored.

Too much of a hurry to include a few commas and periods? I'm not saying his post needs to be perfect, but a complete absence of punctuation is quite atrocious.

Honestly soma, I understand that your life is so meaningless you need to attempt to belittle someone. When I am able to pay my Bills with your opinion, I may start listening to it.

Well then you should've asked for an investment portfolio analysis. ;)

Just offering some critical life advice to use punctuation (and use google, I suppose), but I appreciate your opinion about how meaningful my life is. Hope you enjoy your new exhaust system

What in the world is this? When you translate it...there seems to be a "popcorn" mode which is only activated via paddles? Way to cracklin' for my taste. You hear the revs in the beginning...and then you actually hear him say "popcorn" and the mode switches.

Only way to get that type of sound is to tune the ECU.

I've heard that's an automatic warranty voider :)

What if I were to buy a spare ecu and have one stock and the other tuned? Put the stock one in when going for service etc. and vice versa

I really want a valved exhaust. I've only seen 3 that I can think of.

Jun B.L. EVC Type: Sounds good, very expensive.
Maintec Variable Catback: Least expensive, only recording sounds kinda crappy.
Kunstwerk SR: Sounds good, too loud even closed for the neighbors at 5am.

No great choices. I'd love to know of any others out there. If only ARK made a valved exhaust...

found this one

price looks good

I want MagnaFlow or another big american company to make an exhaust specifically for the G70. Speaking of which, the Stinger version can be modified to fit the G70 - but I want one specifically for our cars.

Personally, I don't want a valved exhaust. I want one that is only "loud" when I'm flooring it, otherwise calm.
At this rate, I may end up making my own custom exhaust. Remove the x-pipe, 2.5" or 2.75" all the way back, 4 total baffled straight through mufflers ought to do it.

Just had the 2 mid resonators removed... Sounds much better!

Originally had the rear 2 (muffler delete) and it was still too quiet for me. This is now a perfect level of sound as replacing the HFCs would be way too loud. This is how the car should have came stock! But I also love some sound :)

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Here is a picture of the 2-mid resonators I'm talking about!

$100 to remove and weld on some new pipes. Can always go back to stock if need be.
