  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Aftermarket Exhaust options!

Emailed kruntzwerk, they said they will not make the down pipes with HFC's.

Perhaps I could get a set myself and get them welded in.

In garage closed, auto, open- open auto, closed
As I said even sounds better in person. I really love it well worth the money!
Fit, craftsmanship, sound and customer service AWSOME
Some of you may want to just try the secondary cat delete midpipe/downpipe. Since it added more low tone and volume with the cat back, I imagine it would do the same for OEM catback.

Valve closed.

Valve open

Modes- on, off, auto, on

So, it's louder than stock overall when closed? My issue with the stock exhaust is there is a bit of drone at 1800-2000 RPM's. Also, do the downpipes eliminate the Catalytic converter entirely?

Only the secondary cats that have no sensors. From the stinger forum deleting the primary cat can cause a cel.
I love the exhaust my biggest worry was drone at highway speed for a long drive, with valve closed noise only exist under a load. Cruising 60 65 70mph radio on level 3 cant even hear the exhaust unless a passing, accelerating condition. I asked the wife if it was annoying, she said she could not hear it but she likes it in open mode cruising around

Yes with or without downpipe louder than stock when closed but not by much. Imo the way the car should have come.

I'm still tempted. This car was so much less expensive than the Audi S5 I was considering that the mods seem free.

Dont be still paying for it, PayPal credit no interest for 6 months. Lol

Dang no interest at least. I may of missed if, but if you don’t mind me asking, how much did it run you?

You should email Kunstwerk for sure, but downpipe I think $350 and racing evc $1650 plus shipping. It dont hurt mention the forum maybe they will offer a discount. Prices seem to be less than Jun.bl.

I had an E60 M5, there is almost no almost comparison when it comes to sound (ok maybe LFA). Those things with an Eisenmann or Meisterschaft Race Exhaust were a thing of GODS.
If the G70 sounded like a C43 I would have no complaints about this car (other than space available :) ).

AMG just gets it when it comes to exhaust note. Great to see that they still sound so rowdy despite introducing turbos into the engine setups

For the love of god, please learn to use punctuation that allows you to form normal length sentences.

Translated for you: "I've had the g70 for a little while now [and] I bought the borla s system. With the resonators off, it had a tin can sound. So, I just put mufflers on with the stock resonators. Sounds good, but not loud enough. I have been looking at the kuntswerk systems but I cant seem to get a hold of anyone. Does anyone have an email [address] for them?"

Hmm. That's an odd email.
