  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anybody seen 2015 Genesis on the road?

Last night on the highway about two miles before I'm going to turn off the highway, I look in the rear view mirror and a black previous generation Genesis, (since I'm new to the sedan, I don't know what year it was) changes lanes and pulls right behind me. I observed both occupants pointing at my car. I have yet to see another 2015 on the road.

I have seen only 1 in my rear view mirror since I got mine. Not counting the dozen or so at my dealership of course.

I haven't seen any lately except the reflection of mine every time I drive by a building with reflective glass, which is all the time. Lol

How's it look?

Aside from in Seoul where the 2nd Gens are a dime a dozen, not only have I yet to see the 2nd generation Genesis outside of a dealer lot, but I actually haven't seen an R-Spec on the road either, nor another 5.0 of any type really.

Weirdly enough, two week ago I saw not only one, BUT two in the same week. A parisan grey, then a white one a couple days later. They both looked BAD AZZ!

Last week at black one! Hopefully, I'll be seeing my own next week. ;-)

White one just passed me now with Utah's plates, heading WB on I-80 in Wyoming, 35 miles east of Rock Springs.

Had mine for two weeks now. Love it. I have only seen maybe one or two others on the road so far.

Had mine for a month. It's amazing how rare these things are on the road. I'm in Atlanta and I think I've seen another genesis once.

I live and work near the Hyundai dealer and haven't seen one on the road other than for a test drive.

Just saw a 3.8 in Parisian Gray on Hwy 105 near Lake Conroe in Texas. I agree with others; the amber daytime running lights detract from the look. This one had the flying "H" (which means the driver likely isn't a member of this board) and was purchased from Wiesner.

Dang I think that owner of that Genny lives is in my sub-division! Just saw it again this morning.

Went to Home Depot this morning and saw two!! Not sure of the color on the first one, looked slightly red and the other was a white one.

Strange, you don't see any for a while and then two come along...

Hi All,

I am the proud owner of a 3.8 AWD Tech Monticito Blue/Gray Genesis. I live on Long Island, NY. I have yet to see another 2nd Gen on the road. My Genesis is very lonely. Have any of you seen one (besides your own) ?

Harwax

Had mine for 3 months now & 4800 miles. I saw a white 2015 5.0 pass me on NJ turnpike. I think we both had surprised looks on our faces! 2nd sighting was a black 3.8 in shopping center nearby. I still want to see the Ibiza Blue...in person!

I'd like to see this in my garage :)

That's the only place you could keep it as that rendering depicts a car that looks to be undriveable - no room for front wheels to turn without rubbing fenders and appears it would bottom out if you sneeze while driving :)

Its on air plus Toca is making sure it road worthy, so driving should not be an issue.
