I'd check junk yards, though that may be a crap shoot, or look into an aftermarket setup.my back up camera is blue !!!!…..they want $800.00 for new one

Pixelation occurs with a weak signal. If you can find the connections I'd check for corrosion starting at the camera since it the most exposed.
I don't know for sure, but a few years back the one on my Sonata died. They just replaced the camera and nothing else.do you think I'm wasting my time buying new camera assembly for $267 or do you think it goes deeper than blue screen problem....?
I just replaced my camera due to the same issue you having, every once and a while it would act up then one day it just stopped working. I got a OEM camera off of ebay ...had to remove the backup lights and lower trunk outer shell to get to the camera ...as I said in my post after replacing it ...didn't realize how much I used it until it didn't workI disassemble everything and cleaned camera , connections and everything , still have blue screen , 2014 rspec
Thank youI don't know for sure, but a few years back the one on my Sonata died. They just replaced the camera and nothing else.
