  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Back up camera question

my back up camera is blue !!!!…..they want $800.00 for new one

yes sir , just started looking for new , found them starting at $247 to $400 for assembly. thank you

Pixelation occurs with a weak signal. If you can find the connections I'd check for corrosion starting at the camera since it the most exposed.

do you think I'm wasting my time buying new camera assembly for $267 or do you think it goes deeper than blue screen problem....?

I don't know for sure, but a few years back the one on my Sonata died. They just replaced the camera and nothing else.

I disassemble everything and cleaned camera , connections and everything , still have blue screen , 2014 rspec
I just replaced my camera due to the same issue you having, every once and a while it would act up then one day it just stopped working. I got a OEM camera off of ebay ...had to remove the backup lights and lower trunk outer shell to get to the camera ...as I said in my post after replacing it ...didn't realize how much I used it until it didn't work
