I just bought 2009 Genesis 4.6L last Friday, 20th July. Love the options and drives great
I opted for this one after going over many reviews/discussion on various topics and doing some self-study, comparative research & after test driving Infinity G35X, M35, Acura and Maxima of 2011. Initially I had the feeling that the steering wheel vibrates a bit more than usual while stopping at signal light with shift at D. Vibration is lesser at P, but it is still there. This vibration is not there at all in 2012 5.0L. Technician at the dealership is saying it is not out of ordinary and 5.0L has a totally different engine design. So it is not doing the same. My question - is this typical of 2009 models for only 4.6L or for all models of that year? If it was like that then, is it fixed in the later models? And most important, how bad is this for the vehicle? Will it get worse by the time and might create serious issues while try to resale? Will greatly appreciate some comments on this. I have till Wednesday, day after tomorrow to return this car, if it is clear that this is a big problem. Any helpful suggestion will be so much appreciated!
