Is there anyone else out there like me who has one of these Genesis' built within the dates mentioned that does not have any problems?
I think my build date was April 2009 and I've had no brake problems. I've got 90K+ miles on her. This doesn't mean my ABS module is OK though...
That is a good question. But many people who reported intermittent brake failure and went to the dealer, where denied any service other than replacing brake fluid if the dealer could not replicate the failure, so I wonder how they can tell whether there is a problem with the ABS module just by looking at it?About a month ago I had my 2012 3.8 brake fluid changed to DOT4. Should I return to the dealer and have them inspect my ABS Module? The invoice only indicated the fluid was changed, no mention of module inspection. I've had no problems with my brakes...either before or after the fluid change.
