  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

How hard is it to keep the pearl white surface clean and fingerprint free? I know some whites are harder than others...just not sure about the pearl white!

All opinions wanted and counted!!

Thanks in Advance

Worst problem I have is carbon stains from the exhaust. Otherwise the car stays clean - at least appears clean. White is ironically the best color for not showing dirt, dust

This is one of the best colors to keep looking its best. The pearl has a nice flip to it in the sun. The car would not look as good in straigth white, IMOP nor would I picked this color

AS stated it never looks that dirty.

With the yearly paint protection[I apply myself, use to own a detail shop] the car looks like a million bucks.

I only have problem with exaust sooton my white Genesis. I have tried to find a pearl white Azera w/camel int for my grand-daughter. Finally had to buy one with black interior.

I love the pearl white on saddle/camel. Picture of soot? I am wondering if there is anything one can install to mitigate this soot problem....

My only problem is bug splat. The grill and mirrors get peppered with bugs and it shows.

But with a car wash, the problem is gone and the pearl is a great color. I have gotten many compliments on the color.

I would get the white pearl again. It takes little car, but its awesome looking.

See pic. Looks Nice !

This is my third white diamond color car. Why? Because its easy to keep looking good. BTW so is silver(my Mercedes is silver). To combat bugs after every wash I use Nu finish stray polish on front bumpers and mirriors, keeps bugs from sticking so much.

For a second, I thought this was a racist post. :)

Seriously, I've never had a white car, but my wife has a white Sonata. Even when she says it's filthy it looks clean to me. My last car, which was silver, was the same way. But my black Jeep looked dirty on its way out of the car wash. My red Genesis is somewhere in between.

Saw a white 09-11 Genesis with the wings in my town a couple of days ago... looked AMAZING. The pearl really is a stunning color.

For a second, I thought this was a racist post. :)

Hahahahahahaha OMG I totally didn't think of that!!!!!! It looks completely racist now that I look at it! Damn you!!!!

Anywho, It looks like all of your great reviews on the white have sealed my fate. The following car will be in my driveway within 3 months:

09-10 Pearl White on Saddle Genesis 4.6 w/Tech & Premium :D

I'm on my second White Satin Pearl, and I totally agree with the comments about it looking clean even when it's dirty. This is a big plus in Southern California with our daily marine layer...

I am a white (I mean I have) a white satin pearl Genesis and love it. The only place that gets dirty too quickly for me is the rear end. I'm sure it's better than the black though.

I went to buy my Genesis always liking black on black or silver on black. I saw the Genesis at night and the sparkle in the paint made me walk over to the car. Never questioned the color from that moment! Funny thing is color was never even discussed it was just assumed. It was also the same car they had in the showroom...for good reason;) The saddle and it really looks classy and inviting.

I love a classy looking interior. Blonde looks cheap IMO. Black looks bland. Saddle looks FANTASTIC haha :). So I guess the pearl white is addicting!

I love the pearl white in the daylight, BUT especially love it in the dusk when the pearl effect really shines through. I too had a difficult time removing the carbon from around the tailpipes but found out bug tar removed easily handles it. I have received numerous compliments about the white paint and how classy it make the car look.

I have had my 2010 for eighteen months and it is easy to keep clean. Had the mud guards installed about three months after purchase and they help a lot. Have the tan interior because they did not have saddle which was my first choice

Finally had to take a White pearl w/black int for my grand-daughter. Shure would have prefered the camel/cashmere like my Genny but, at this time you nearly have to take what you can get if you want a 2012 Azera. Definetly had to be white. My family has 7 vehicles and they are all white. Learned something else that is screwy, If you pay cash, you have to pay $1500 more.
We live in a strange world.

I've been wondering about that - do these loans have early payment penalties? If not, why not just get the loan, pay it off right away, and pocket (almost) $1500?
