  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Dealers with 2019s

Three more states got inventory this week (Kentucky, Missouri and New Mexico) as well as quite a few more dealers. We are now up to half the states with 110 dealers.

The states on the watch list are Florida, Iowa, Indiana (they were supposed to get inventory last Friday but it appears that did not happen), Oregon and Washington.

Add Genesis of Noblesville. I know we got a black 3.3 sport in on Saturday, but our website shows a Himalayan Gray 2.0. I was off on Saturday, so I don't know for sure, but will find out tomorrow.

Edit: We did get 2 G70's, and 4 2019 G80's.

As noted above, Indiana has received some inventory which brings us up to 26 states. Surprising given the Holiday but quite a few dealers got their first shipment this week and we are now up to 121 in total.

No new states joined the watchlist so we are left with Florida, Iowa, Oregon, and Washington.

I see one dealership in FL with a single G70 in stock; Allen Turner Genesis, obviously this does follow the new dealership naming convention.

Yes, that was mentioned last night on another thread. Looks like that may be used or some type of dealer trade and not an official shipment since the VIN tracks to Genesis of Atlanta.

Based on what I see at their website this is probably not an approved Genesis dealer. One car which was delivered to Genesis of Atlanta. My guess is they somehow traded for this one model to get a vehicle on the floor. The website lists no staff and contact information is for the Hyundai dealership.

Damm, you bet me to the punch, again. :grinlaugh:

Shipments to Florida have started. So far I'm seeing inventory for Genesis of St. Augustine, Key Genesis and Red Hoagland Genesis.

Edit: and Wesley Chapel

We are starting the new year off with a bang, three new states have inventory - Florida, Iowa and Washington. We are up to 135 dealers including 9 in Florida.

Right now Oregon is the only state on the watchlist. Hopefully now that Florida is taken care of we will see more.

I’m late to the party on this one, I’ve kept full circulated inventory at my dealership (Genesis of Milford) in Milford CT for the past 2 months. If anyone needs help getting into one of these cars please contact me, I’ve gotten deals done for people out of state with no issues.

My email is jason@keycars.com

Did you come here to join in the conversation about Genesis in general or just to sell cars? A couple of other sales guys jumped in there to try to sell then are never heard from again.

There are a few long time members here that contribute to the forum and happen to sell cars. I'd not hesitate to buy from them but, the guy that jumps in for his own purpose just tarnishes the dealer he works for.

We are up to 141 dealers thanks to Florida now having 15 with inventory and there are 19 more in the state awaiting shipments.

A couple more states to add to the watchlist, it is now Nebraska, Oklahoma and Oregon (not sure why that one is taking so long).

What do you mean by "with inventory"? Does that mean they have them physically in stock or they will be getting them? I've contacted a few and they say they are still waiting to receive shipment/in transit so I'm confused.

Any dealer listed means that they are showing as having inventory. That could be on genesis.com, cars.com, CarGurus.com or the dealer's website. I have not run into any cases where they were listed with inventory and not had it yet but with the en masse rollout of Florida I guess that could be happening. What I have run into though is that the dealer had the cars but since PDI wasn't completed the sales staff did not know they had them.

Yes, the new states/dealers have been showing up on the Genesis website a few days after I get the info and put them on the watchlist. Hopefully we will see inventory soon. (y)

Genesis was busy with shipments this week, we now have 159 dealers in 30 states.

Watchlist is Nebraska and Oregon (and technically Oklahoma since Edmond put their inventory online without receiving it).
