When did you get yours changed and what did you have done?

Hey there Slip, Lozic sent me a new ECU with smoother tune and I asked for some Mose boost - much smoother

Received my remapped ECU & TCU today. SUPER FAST SHIPPING! Ecu was 1.4 ,power by mode, boost ready 2500rpm.
Boost ready @ 2500 was fine in eco and comfort but sport did not like the lag after having full on. Sending back for adjust. I do like very much the pop(bubble ) on downshift.

TCU Is pressure 1 -8% with soft 2nd to 1st downshift. And for me it is as perfect as it can get. I liked pressure 2 if it could be just in sport and pressure 1 in comfort.
LOZIC is awsome!
Yeah, the new shipping is great. I got mine in 4 days after he shipped. Will install my new tune probably Tuesday

Hey Slip,

removed and replaced with what exactly? Any pics of the after ?

The intake inlets are under the bumper. When those were removed the intake restriction dropped. I'm pretty sure I posted a pic of what they look like in a thread somewhere but you can also look at the Velossa Tech instructions and you will see the inlets removed. Those are what we are talking about. Search for VT or inlets and you should find more info.

Slip, you took them out completely right - didn't add anything?

Correct. I have VT snorkels but still haven't installed them....lol

Thanks Slip! Also, finally got my aem drop in filters on and really notice a smoother throttle response. A lot less jerky acceleration from the initial foot to the floor. Was surprised they made such a difference.

Hey twister,

I’m going to send mine back to for a new tune as I have a maintenance coming up so I’m going to put the stock ecu on. Did you just simply ask for a smoother tune or you sent him logs?

I’m going to get rid of power by mode B or go with mode D. Mode B is too slow in comfort.

Also going to try the ready boost on and ask him if he figured that out that in sport mode only.

I just asked for smoother tune and more Bar

thats what I asked for
So Lozic wrote me back, said I have the smoothest tune already and that boost ready on is still only available across all modes, not for a specific mode.

I have new ecu on the way. 1.4 b mode boost ready on. I think the option be will not be as slow with boost ready.
I have b now with boost ready start 2500 but do not like the lag then jolt.
I had full 1.5 across all modes with full boost ready but did not like full power in eco and sport with boost ready.
I think this new ecu is going to be the perfect combo for me, one mor option is boost ready maybe @ 1800 but have tried too many already.

You'll have to report back asap on how it is! i'm trying to pay attention to where my rpms are at now on my daily drive to see where that boost ready on sweet spot for me would be. sometimes too many options are not good :)

Received ECU, I only took 2 short drives but this setup is the best for me so far. Very smooth acceleration. In comfort mode just putting around when softly accelerating about 5psi with full boost ready. Not sure where boost is with stock ECU. My goal was to lower boosting when normal cruising. BUT, I still believe that boost ready @ 1800 would be a good option, enough for now maybe next year unless Lozic wants to send me one to test out.

That was my idea too with the boost ready off. Lozic assures boost on will not wear anything out. I guess we shall see! Glad to hear you’re loving it!

Would one or a couple of you guys who have a more recent mild Lozic tune, like maybe @Slip_Angle be willing to send me the settings you chose and if you'd do anything differently? He just sent me V19 of the order form. I've read all 137 pages of the thread over on the Stinger forum and there have been so many changes and updates over the past couple years. I'm sending him questions as well but would appreciate someone else with experience to bounce a couple ideas/questions off and is a native English speaker just so nothing is lost in translation. Thanks!

The good news is that you have come in at a time where Lozic has really perfected his tunes and people on this forum and the Stinger forum have tried all sorts of combinations. The best way to go about it is describe what you are looking for in a tune and ask questions. Some people like a really smooth tune and others want a car that hits like a rocket. What octane will you be using and are you paring with a TCU and/or AWD tune?
