  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

3.3T Ecu tune

Should be fine. The ECU will adjust if there is knock detected. I know people who have run 91 with the 1.5Bar, though I think that tune is a bit hot for 91.

I've also seen recent testing of Shell 91 on the west coast of Canada and the results are not good at all. I assume 94 is Petro Can?
We’re they tuned for 91 though I wonder? I know 93 is his standard octane rating on the order forms. Yes the 94 would be from Petro Can.

I assumed the ecu would be able to adapt but than why actually have an octane rating to select from?

Everything I’ve read lately about shell 91 has been good vs Petro cans 94 no ethanol vs ethanol mix.

The Shell 91 testing was done on a fully stock Audi S4. It was tested against several other fuels back to back. The amount of timing pulled and resulting loss of power was much more then I would have ever thought.

The ECU can adapt within a range, so you still want a tune that is within ballpark of it's octane requirement. Ethanol isn't bad. It provides cooling and is a natural octane.

That’s very interesting, do you remember which fuel was best?

I asked for 94, and I got TCU also - my only dislike is the combination is a bit harsh - have asked for a smoother tune which he is going to provide (earlier tune maybe was a bit harsh)

When did you get your ecu? I’ve been shopping this for about 6 months and I noticed he updated his order form a couple of months ago.

Does he reflash for free?

I got it about a year ago - he’s sending me a new ECU for just $$ shipping costs

That’s amazing customer service! Did you send him logs of some sort or you’re specifically changing a setting?

Hey guys, update. I just installed the ecu this afternoon… amazing! This is a different car. My one gripe, I did power by mode B, back to comfort mode it’s like a Corolla compared to sport mode.

Oh and it’s working great with 91 octane which is what was in the car already. I’ll fill with 94 next week and see if I notice any difference.

It will get better over time as it adjusts. I typically recommend people don't go with power by mode for that exact reason. I guess sport mode always!

With “ sport mode always” hahaha, is the comfort mode still a bit less sporty than sport mode?

yes its always ready to go in sport mode but I don't mind comfort, it will still get. up and go if you need. Looking forward to seeing what the latest tune feels like.....should arrive today

Hopefully it's what you're looking for! Has anyone tried this new ready boost on feature that only starts at 2500 RPMS? this is a new setting according to Lozic.

Received my remapped ECU & TCU today. SUPER FAST SHIPPING! Ecu was 1.4 ,power by mode, boost ready 2500rpm.
Boost ready @ 2500 was fine in eco and comfort but sport did not like the lag after having full on. Sending back for adjust. I do like very much the pop(bubble ) on downshift.

TCU Is pressure 1 -8% with soft 2nd to 1st downshift. And for me it is as perfect as it can get. I liked pressure 2 if it could be just in sport and pressure 1 in comfort.
LOZIC is awsome!

Very nice. I would be interested to try pressure 1. I've done all the rest.

So it's on the way back for another adjustment to get boost ready always on for sport?

Just always on, until he figures it out for sport only. Not sure if it's possible
