  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Eelectric Exhaust Cut Outs

Any idea when the new vids will be available?

Sorry head space in the operator disregard post!

I did Abel Racing CAI. Pic in one of my posts. I am going to get a few made for those interested. My thread was closed by moderator when I posted a thread to sell them???

Not familiar with qtp brand. My valves are tight as a drum and are much more heavy duty than the other brands I shopped.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
^^ Probably because you are not a vendor, therefore you cant sell like a vendor.

Would you mind PM'ing me a pic of the CAI and where it goes? I want to scrutinize it :)

so i watched a video of a guy behind the gen r spec with cut outs two days ago. Now I can not find it. I want to show this to my wife to convince her. The sound clip was awsome and not too loud(her style). These other vids are raw dog loud(my style). any idea where it went they were driving around town behind him taking video thanks for the help

Interesting. Not sure I have seen that vid. You can try my others where I use fll range of loud/quiet.

YouTube. Driv200 genesis Rspec

Sent you PM little about CAI's

Re: Eelectric Exhaust Cut Outs & Stock Center Exhaust

Here is a pic for all of you who have PM'd me about reconnecting the stock center exhaust if I wanted to go back to stock. About 15 minutes to bolt back on. Here is the CAI too for those who have PM'd about how to install.

cell phone turned center exhaust pic sideways? Sorry. You might notice I have the MSA cat deletes(black tubes) on replacing the big rear cats you would normally see.

Very realistic! Considering no aftermarket companies are giving Hyundai any attention and that my PM box is full of interested parties.

I'm planning on a V8 purchase soon and was wondering if there's any issue with them hitting water? Our weather in FL during the summer months can be very unpredictable. Is all the wiring etc. well insulated...what if they happen to be open and you do hit standing water, any issues with potential backwash into the exhaust system? Thanks....your mod's to the car sound great !! :)

Thanks Gameday. No, there is not any concern with standing water or deep water. The valves when open direct flow through "down tubes". Water would have to travel "up" and against exhaust flow. Even if you car was submerged while not running, the water would have to travel "up". Its probably safer than your stock exhaust if submerged in water. Hard to imagine water getting up into the engine.

The wiring is protected in big insulated sheathing for heat shielding and weather protection. All good.
