  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Electric GV70

So I just came back from a Boston to Québec cruise, because of the distance between the starting and ending ports I left the car home for 10 days (Did the trip going to Boston in a Greyhound bus and from Québec by train). This being the EV, I left with an 85% charge, and came back to find the charge at 84%. So for anyone owning the EV and wondering about leaving it for a few weeks, you won't find a dead battery on your way back.

After about a week the car went into some sort of sleep mode, the app couldn't geolocate it, stating the car hadn't been started in a few days and would need to be started again for these services to work. Pretty sure this is to save on battery drainage, seems to work!

Aligns with our experience leaving our GV60P for 5+ months on 2 different occasions - negligible charge loss and no issues.
