  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Favorite Color Combos for G70

I’ve narrowed down my 3 favorite colors to

Havana Red
Mallorca Blue
Nurburg Green

I’m so so so tired of white black and gray cars everywhere. I’m primarily intrigued by the Green but it’s part of a “design” package which I haven’t been able to find much information on. Does anyone have a detailed breakout?

The green models on cars.com all appear to be missing the brembo red break rotors which is highly unfortunate. I love the cream/white interior on the green option however the carpet + seats + steering wheel all being the same color is a poor design choice. It should either have dark carper or a different accent color steering wheel.

The blue is nice but I’d prefer the Ibiza blue from the 2015 Genesis 5.0 sedan, it was a more “brilliant” blue especially in the light. Jaguar also makes a Caseuem blue for the Fpace which is perfect as well. Can the Mallorca blue be ordered with the black and red interior? I’ve only seen all black models online.

The red is fine; not the best shade of red. But when you package the brembos with the black and red interior it is quite attractive in totatility.

I have the Nurburg green, love it, and have to say I'm glad they did the grey brembo calipers - I think the red with the green would look a little too christmas-y for me!

The 3.3T Design Special Edition is painted in exclusive Black Forest Green and will feature a cream-colored interior with a contrasting, dark green upper instrument panel. A premium cabin air filter, embossed Genesis winged logo headrests, and a bespoke key cover complete the Design Special Edition package. Both special edition models are available with either RWD or AWD.

But do they lose the brembo’s? None of the green options I see online have the red calipers.

Haha...very true. I love yellow Brembo's personally.

The Design Edition has gray Brembo's which I would have LOVED on mine to be honest.

This. Yellow calipers. I may end up painting mine. Have to buy the car first, though. Hah.

The design white interior is going to be dirty in no time and not a practical choice for me. Something in the brown family with the green exterior would be better.

So i’ve now seen a decent number of G70’s either on the road or at local dealers. What i love about the G70 is how well Genesis did with interesting, character-full and inspiring colours.

There’s s Genesis dealer next to BMW & Audi & MB dealers in Vancouver. Almost all the BMWs are either white or black or grey, with a small number of blue for the 2 or 4 series. My 6 year old daughter even asked what the deal with all the white cars was.

The Audi dealer had a display of white-only models. Boring.

The MB dealer had a mix, but almost all were shades with little pigment interest, IMO.

Then at the Genesis dealer i see the green, blue, red, dark blue, the ice-grey-white and the brown-ish colours. On the road i have not yet seen a black or silver G70, and only a few white and ice-white (dunno the colour name) - but the rest are actual interesting colours. Very cool.

Props to Genesis!

Siberian Ice...the sexiest of all the colors :)

Did you customize or ask for the 5 spoke wheel on your Nurburg green or is that a standard offering in CA ? All of the US listings I’m finding in Nurburg have these which are far more plain and cheaper looking in my opinion.

In Canada...the green can be had on any trim. In the USA...the green is only on the Design edition.

Yup! Don’t know why, it’s a cool sophisticated colour that you don’t see a lot ....

Audi now has a gray non-metallic in addition to black or white that you can get for "free". Otherwise, be prepared to pay for colors.

^ actually, those 10-spoke machine finish rims are gorgeous when seen in person. very classy and not cheap looking at all. those were the rims i originally saw at the auto show and loved them at first sight. i was pissed when they switched to the dark 5 spoke sport rims...until i lived with them for a few months and began to appreciate the ease of cleaning. the 6MT Sport compound brakes dust like crazy and the 5-spokers are as easy to clean as it gets.

the only trim that gets the 10-spoke rims in CAD is the 2.0T Prestige which is the top 2.0T trim level. this trim is also the same price as the bottom 3.3T trim so i don't expect to see many around.

Yeah love my 10 spoke. Just to colour match, I got Titanium winter wheels as well!
