  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

i don't have vibration just a noise I afraid of getting one if we replace the shaft

Having my just recently purchased 2016 AWD 3.8 start making this noise with only 31k - I took it to the dealership and they had it for three days and could not determine the noise lol. I spent 5 minutes on this forum and found this thread and thanks to OSNV for posting the TSB. I just sent it to the Hyundai service writer. Will update as this continues.

Hey guys I posted on another thread yesterday that my dealer located the problem. Replacing the entire driveshaft assembly(which includes the propeller shaft). Used electronic device to locate origin of noise. Noise coming from propeller shaft unit. This unit is directly located underneath the console. That's why when you open up the console the fluttering/clicking noise is more pronounced. Scheduled to install driveshaft assembly this Monday. Will keep ya posted.
Did this replacement work?

It is a problem that has no permanent fix. Nothing to do with the tires. Just live with the flutter, or if you’ve had the driveshaft assy replaced, the vibration. I try to avoid driving at 28 mph for the first 10 minutes or so, then it goes away. Otherwise the car is great so I’ve learned to live with it.

What was the process for that? I've had the flutter since i purchased the car CPO, and never made a stink as there was never a permanent solution for it. If a repurchase is an option, I'd like to know how to go about it.

Genesis makes you file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau first before filing a lemon law complaint. BBB auto Handled the complaints for me completely. Genesis than I have they have a problem and really other than time the process was smoother. Genesis customer care and tell you how to get started and get you a case reference number
