  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

G70 LED vs Stock Turn & Reverse Lights

One of mine shat the bed a couple of weeks ago so I'm back to incandescent bulbs for the moment. It was weird, I would get the "bulb out" warning for several weeks, but it would go away as soon as I flicked the signal on. Subsequently, it started hyperflashing and telling me a bulb was out but they were lighting up just fine, leading me to believe it was actually the resistor that died.
You are probably spot on, heat death comes to capacitors, resistors, transistors. My left turn started doing this yesterday, and sometimes would return from the dead, but then begin the hyperflash. These cheap-ass chinese LEDs lasted 2 years, though, pretty good!

I’m showing they appear to be available. See attached. They have gone up a $1.00 or so from what I paid View attachment 34308
I had these last time, but all the comments (on Amazon) seem to be about how crappy the adhesives in the bulb body are, and how they are failing a lot now. Guess I will try another brand. The only ones I know for sure that work right now besides the everbright are the super-expensive, american made LASFIT bulbs. It is hard to buy two turn signals for 50 bucks. My entire body fights me to stop me from clicking the buy button.

Having had my LASFIT ones for a year now, they still work great and have not failed at all, but still give me the rapid-flash overheating thing, after a few minutes flashing in hot weather. Leave your turn signal or flashers on for like 4 minutes and they start doing the rapid-flash thing and "check turn signal" warning pops up.

Other than that, I also would like to apologize to anyone driving behind me as they are EXTREMELY bright, I actually feel bad. I can't really dim them.

But, over 30,000 miles, no problems. Don't touch the bulbs with anything other than towels or gloves when installing them.

Hey, anyway, your video is great. Even if your camera is sometimes shaking, it is still good to watch how you install the rear turn signals and other lighting appliances.

My Everbright turn signals are several years old now and still working fine. Even if they crapped out after 2-3 years of use, they are not expensive so I’d just order another set.

In my opinion, you choose good bulb models for your car. Can you suggest a good model for my old honda civic? Right now, I'm buying bulbs from this source Hazardous Location Light Fixtures | High Bays, Flood Lights, String Lights & More, but I never tried to order on Amazon( I'm not living in the US right now). If you think that the delivery will be cheaper if I order from amazon?

MY everbright just crapped out. 2 years of service.
