  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I assume yours is the titanium black, I wonder what color the carbon metal is. If it matches the sport trim color that would be sexy
Perhaps the material is different but that exact same picture I've seen passed around to many ebay/amazon resellers. When I ordered mine it did not specifically specify Moya (which is what is clearly etched on the inside of it), in fact I believe it's listed as WSP. I really didn't care too much about that so long as I received the actual style/design of the spoiler listed in said pics, which I did.

Let me find the vendor link... see.. do the pictures look familiar!! This particular vendor seems to sell a lot of volume, and has all kinds of product. I can only say that mine arrived in relatively short order coming direct from Korea. With only one purchase (2 items); I would recommend. I'm 90% positive I ordered from the vendor below, your mileage may vary don't shoot the messenger if you order and don't get what you expect.

For those with the trunk spoilers, did you ceramic coat / wax that portion of the car beforehand? If so, does that affect how well the adhesive work?

Lastly, do you now close the trunk by gripping the spoiler? Or is that bad practice and will tug at the adhesive potentially making it come off.

With the spoiler I got, it came with an alcohol wipe and then a "primer" wipe. It seems really solid but I haven't tested the theory...

I don't close it by grabbing the spoiler, although it's on their good I don't believe that would be a problem. Trunk closes pretty easily with a two-finger flick of wrist from the very bottom of the trunk. The added little extra weight of the spoiler probably aids in closing the trunk. I haven't bothered using the inside handle, maybe that is easier now due to the bit of weight.

Gotcha, thanks for the reply. People said that closing the trunk requires a bit of force, and they don't like that it's not a powered close.

I test drove the G70 and the trunk felt completely fine and relatively easy to close for me. I didn't bother with the handle inside since that's kinda weird, but I do currently drive a pretty old SUV that I have to put some weight in closing the hatch door even though it has a powered hatch door. Closing it manually is usually much quicker so I guess I am use to it.

It's a little heavy. I accidentally slammed my brother's trunk because it was about half (maybe a bit more) the weight on the Q50. That said, definitely doable in 1 motion. Just gotta get used to it.
