  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

G70 US Availability?

How do I send PM? I will share which dealerships to avoid.
You've not been here long enough. To prevent spam, you have to have at least 15 or 16 posts to have PM rights. Once you do, just click on the person's name.

Which trim or package has Idle stop and go? I’ve got 3.3 sports, and don’t see the feature nor feature disable button.

Only available on the 2.0 models as far as I know

I'm looking to purchase in the Bay Area as well. Which dealership did you chose and are you happy with the transaction?
It’s too bad that separate genesis dealerships are not established and these Hyundai dealerships are ruining the ownership experience. They are not ready to sell or service G70. I would recommend to sit out till old builds are cleared. I can only recommend you to avoid some dealerships.

Thanks! I noticed the blocked button slot at the same time the gas tank gauge needle dropping so fast so wondering...

Can someone explain why I find a specific G70 on the "Search Inventory" at Genesis.com page but when I click their link to go to that dealer it does not appear in their list of cars and photos?

The website doesn't update correctly. In most cases, those cars have been sold already. If you're looking for a specific car it would probably be in your best interest to speak to dealers directly, see who accepts circle pricing if you're using it, and then have them figure out when they can get the car for you. I went as far as placing a $1k deposit down so nobody snagged my car before I got to the dealer

They are not always synched. For example cars sent to the dealer may show on Genesis before the PDI is completed and they are put on the dealer’s site. The reverse when a car is sold. You will also see cars listed for a dealer on third party sites like cars and car gurus well in advance of the dealer receiving the car because many advertise when they get their allocation sheet rather than waiting for the cars.

It also seems that many of the dealers are so disorganized that their inventory is not correctly listed online.

Anyone in Colorado know if any other dealers besides Arapahoe will be getting G70's?

There is a dealer in Colorado Springs touting themselves as a Genesis dealer but they have not yet went through the process. They received some "used" ones from the PGA tournament so I would imagine they will eventually become a dealer.

Man thats a bummer. Even Arapahoe's stock is somewhat limited.

I definitely agree there. Their online inventory doesn't match reality on the lot.

If you know what specific trim you want they should be able to request it in their next allocation. Dealers can't always get it but most times seem to be successful.

Arapahoe has been disappointing so far, unless a few more open up soon I'll probably wait another 3 years to try out a G70 and lease something else in the meantime. Through my interactions with them so far I have no confidence that they'll provide a luxury experience, much less hold up the quality of ancillary services like valet and Genesis loaners.

They're horrible at responding to emails, even when they email me first and I reply. So I stopped in one afternoon and they're all interested in selling Hyundais, not Genesis. I didnt even drive the single 3.3 model they had on the lot. It felt like they were annoyed w/ people coming to ask about the handful of Genesis cars they had on lot.

That is unfortunate. The dealer I have has several sales people dedicated solely to Genesis--and they have been terrific at returning phone calls, etc. It is unfortunate the way that some dealerships are run.

I now may end up in Albuquerque. Or Salt Lake City. At least it will be a good way to put on some miles on a shinny new car?
