Genesis Coupe r spec wheels on sedan 3.8
Decided to test fit these wheels and see how they look just in case anyone is thinking about doing the same. Right off the bat the fronts WILL NOT FIT unless you use at least a 5mm spacer. The front caliper WILL NOT allow the wheel to spin. I also used a 5mm spacer on the rear which filled the fender nicely and does not protrude beyond the fender. The rear is a perfect flush fitment with the fender. The fronts however are tucked in a bit even with the 5mm spacer. One thing I did notice is the road noise and ride did suffer a tab bit but not to an extent where it's annoying. My 2012 sonata is loud as hell in regards to road noise and such.
At this point because of how the front wheels did not fill in the wheel well that good I may either find another set of rear wheels and use only 4 rears non staggered or add tires with the same specs as the rear......or might just keep them as the are not a fan of using bigger spacers and adding extended studs and all.
Anyhow here are the pictures
