  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I had a frame made for my plate on my Genesis 2012. There are only 2 screws on the car and on the frame. I just got a 2015 Genesis and the frame does not sit tight on the bottom where there are no screws - I need some suggestions to hold it down - velcro????
Thanks!

I just put a small square patch of velcro (soft side facing paint) thick enough and in the center bottom of plate so there would be no rattle or the frame hitting the paint.

I just put some self adhesive rubber bumpers on the back of the lower edge of the plate - so no worries about adhesive on the paint.

The problem isn't the plate hitting the paint - the problem is the frame that I have bounces around on the plate. I don't know if velcro would hold up in rain and heat - I can try it. The stick-on rounds wouldn't work because I need adhesive on both sides - to have the frame sit tight on the plate.
