Now officially open for business and the showroom looks beautiful. This is for sales, parts and service. They also have 1 fast charger with another one to be installed in coming weeks capable of 150 kWH once they get the programming completed. For now the 50kWH service did just fine for me to charge the loaner I have. For anyone in the area, the charging is free for now so lets see how long that lasts for.

While I didn't take pictures of the service area, customers can see through full glass walls as their car is being serviced. Below are pics of the dealership as well as showroom.

This was the Hyundai dealer for many years, now converted to a Genesis dealer, with a massive brand new Hyundai dealer built behind it, in a space that was a large grocery store.

The brand new Genesis dealership is being built from scratch, and is under construction. When it is complete, they will demolish the old Hyundai / now Genesis building and have a very large lot in front of and between the two dealerships for used and new inventory.

The purpose of this thread is only to compile a list of freestanding Genesis dedicated stores operating in the U.S., that each have all of the following minimum attributes:

1.) Separate freestanding non-mobile building(s) dedicated for Genesis sales, parts, and service.
(might be located adjacent to, but not attached to, stores or service facilities of other brands)
2.) New vehicles offered are exclusively Genesis models. (might sell used vehicles of other brands)
3.) Performs service on site for Genesis vehicles. (might not always have valet and/or loaner service)

Classic Genesis, Mentor, Ohio has one nearly finished. Apparently, it will be for sales and service drop off only with the actual maintenance being done at the Hyundai center just up the street.

Been interested in Genesis G80 for few years now, but anytime I get close can't justify paying 70k for a vehicle and having it serviced at a Hyundai dealership. Call me stuck up or whatever, but expect a luxury service experience when buying a luxury vehicle.
With that in mind, has anyone heard of plans for a standalone dealership in Massachusetts? If so where?
If you are a current owner and feel your service experience has been perfectly fine at Hyundai dealership welcome that feedback as well.

I bought my '23 G70 at Genesis Of Braintree, MA. Great service and super easy.
Right now, it's in a make shift office, but they are having a brand new building like the one pictured at the top of this page, (The one in Hicksville, NY) All glass walls and about 10 cars inside, if I recall correctly. I think he said it should be completed by 2024. They already have broken ground.

Today I discovered in Las Vegas they are working on a stand alone dealer. I believe the building being renovated is the original Hyundai store that resides next to the new/current Hyundai store. The display they had in the temporary showroom/service center claimed an estimated completion date of Q3 2023 but they're in no danger of making that happen. Still good news!

Genesis of Central Florida will be opening its standalone facility in Clermont very soon as well as Jenkins Genesis of Leesburg Florida will be opening its store in a. few months. Both of these are currently under construction and will be next door to the Hyundai dealerships.

Not an open for business yet but I got the official notice today for the groundbreaking for Genesis of Round Rock, TX. That’s happening tomorrow morning. Hopefully that means it’ll be open within a few months. Will update when we get a grand opening date.

Genesis has acclaimed cars and SUVs but has lacked a network of stand-alone showrooms to give customers the full luxury experience. That's changing.

The Cherry Hill location is one of the largest/nicest - but little wonder at that since they did 1k in volume last year while sharing facilities (the Hyundai operation did about 1.5k); according to Lanzavecchia, that's more than the local MB dealership.

That's 84 Genesis vehicles a month - that's more than many Genesis dealerships do for an entire year.

Unfortunately, not every owner is as good/committed as Lanzavecchia (who is or was head of the dealership council), much less have the financial wherewithal.


Genesis of Westlake should be added to the list even if they may share service bays with the likes of Bentley and Lamborghini (not sure if each brand has separate bays or share).

Smaller volume dealerships (or those in real pricey areas) can't afford fully separate facilities - and as been stated, a standalone dealership is no guarantee of improved service if the ownership stinks.

Chik Fil-A just spent $4.5 million on a parcel of land in San Jose.

Figure an auto dealership requires 6 to 8 times the land.

I know for sure Genesis Westlake doesn’t share anything with Hyundai (not drive up, not advisors, not service managers, not showrooms with any other brand) and they have dedicated trained Genesis techs. Not positive about the bays but definitely not with Hyundai. You may have to sit next to Bentley and Lamborghini owners in the waiting room but that’s a small price to pay.
